  • It has an other axle unused to use it would help for the weight distribution

  • They never heard of iron plates?

  • What's an ass truck?

  • Why didn't the idiot have his diff locks on then it wouldn'tve span and churned the ground anywhere near as much

  • He made it like the same distance everytime, what difference is 10 ft when you're moving it with heavy equipment anyway?

  • Lol when you see shit like this your in Texas

  • haha 6th gear in reverse thats funny

  • When they were paving the Gardener Expressway in Toronto, Canada they did all 3 lanes and the shoulder as the same time; staggered spreaders, so the trucks would have to back down from the next exit ahead. 5th gear in reverse in a 130,000 lb tractor-trailer, that was real trucking right thar.

  • Hell Yeah.

  • I'm a city folk,

and I think this is hilarious

  • '

this truck can go backward with a shift - N - netural

  • thats how u get shit done

  • learn how to built a road with rock not dirt and it wouldnt be soft and that truck is a piece of shit

  • Yawwwwwn been there done that

  • why not just put some wood down and rive on that?

  • @TheUsmc29 do you even know how hard it is to rive on wood? Riving is one of the most complicated tasks when it comes to Ruck's and Emi's

  • @lacoste10156 No i dont, i was just throwing it out there...im sorry :'(

  • Huh....all my trucks have 1 reverse with a "High" side and a "low" side giving me "2" reverse gears......am I not looking far enough under the mat?

  • @whtownejr No, you are not old enough to know different

It's a MACK and has to be older than 1987

The transmission will be a TRXL1071. Should be a few videos of people driving one

  • @whtownejr obviously not Mack Duplex boxes,,, with a seperate stick for Reverse,, high ,, and low ranges. so whatever gear you put it in in the main box,,, is sent through the auxilliary box,, even if the Aux is in reverse

  • gotta love them old macks!

  • This truck could only have 4 reverse gears. Correct me if I am wrong. You had said 6th gear reverse.

  • Redneck truck drivin at its best!!!

  • now its even, but i did like it

  • im a city guy and i got that lol... then again i want to be a redneck hahaha

  • gotta be ya best viewed vid so far!..... good job mate

  • Doubt if this was OSHA approved. LOL!!

  • The ol twin stick mack was good for something... more reverse gears haha

  • Definitely did not hit 30.

  • Here's a revolutionary idea! COMPACT THE SOIL OVER THE BRIDGE FIRST!!!

  • dam good drivin for sure

  • keeping it even, and not just for the sake of it, i get it

  • Not much room I was surprised he was able to get into 6th

  • 614 LIKES AND 614 DISLIKES OMG

  • Over 600 Rednecks knew what his video was about

An Equal number of city folks are still scratching their heads.

  • @ScopedOUT2 its only because you "city folk" are morons that apparently cannot read. I do understand that the fundamentals of education are quite as strong in the city schools.

  • @ScopedOUT2 Wow, what a stupid comment. It's not like you're in the middle of the woods in deep East Texas. It's a construction site. There's a really good chance that most people there live in the city or suburbs.

  • @ScopedOUT2 ur saying you rednecks are better than us? im a city guy and i knew exact;y what this video was about dumbass.

  • @129sexyman fuck off you middle class asshole here in england rednecks are called working class and we run rings round you middle class assholes so go fuck you sen are kid . and if you dont know owt about trucks dont say owt get it asshole ?

  • @129sexyman yorkshire rules city boy do you get it asshole ?

  • Americans...

  • why didn't you just lower your other wheels and disperse your weight

  • this vid should be renamed.......... STEERING WHEEL ATTENDANT WITH NO RESPECT FOR HIS TRUCK

  • Doesen't matter rage quit!

  • How stupid can the person who is doing the editing be.... It is not possible for the truck to be in 6th gear in reverse.

  • @DeisleDawg88 with a mack transmission you can.

  • MACK truck 'nuff said.

  • That truck needs Tireboss.

  • dumb ass truck drivers thats why i have to put clutches rearends and drive shafts in all the time because their to fuckin stupid to realize their just tearing shit up and doing a piss poor job thats why they drive a dump truck because it really means dumb fuck

  • personally i would have lowered the third set of tires down and distrubted the wait better more wheels less sinking just my opinion

  • @kutter987 the way he was sinking in the other set of wheel was not gonna make a differance.

  • crazy?.... do that shit every day here in new zealand...

  • Wow. Way to film the same thing from different angles. Oh. AND you know how to speed up a video. Congratulations!

  • ???

  • ok so here is a bright idea why doesnt the driver use the gravel he is dumping to put on the soft spot, then go in there with a front end loader tractor or backhoe and level/pack the ground with the bucket. then he dosent have to run the piss out of the motor

  • @mAdAsZaC As I actually do drive dumptrucks. I also know that I do not get myself into situations that get me stuck. Also wherever i dump there has to be a certain load restrictions for the area i drive on meaning packed down and/or graveled properly according to laws. You are right about the less weight and less traction, but in soft dirt no matter how you look at it, you ARE going to get stuck especially backing into it. The driver in the video did well for the conditions

  • Must be Hugh Rowland driving! hahahaha

  • Ummm, why not just use the skid steer to move the whole 10yrds of loam? I meen the truck got 20 extra feet by running at it over and over.

  • ok the floor it idea was pretty good. but why not use the drop axle? maybe get more surface area touching the ground so it didnt want to sink as bad? that woulda helped tons and been less dangerous.

  • dont see anything crazy about this at all. the load got where it was supposed to be didnt it?

  • listen to that turbo! 0:41

  • The guy said its good enough, but nope had to go for the 3rd try...Those old mack sticks shifts are fun....

  • @tjsage79 no their not-they are the worst trans in the buisness

  • @EddieErion929 Really because I have run some old macks, 66 Dm800, and the clutch has been somewhat indestructible...not that u really need it much....

  • @tjsage79 who said anything about the clutch?

  • Good way to blow up your turbo...

  • @Errorcode38 how do you figure?

  • @EddieErion929 Because if the turbo is spinning and you turn the engine off, the turbo ain't get oil anymore.

  • @Errorcode38 what are you talking about? this video shows a guy driving fast and you said its a good way to blow the turbo(wrong!)-I say how do you figure and you reply if you shut the engine off the turbo dosnt get oil----- where do you see an engine being shut off here?are you ok?

  • Maybe doing a better job of packing the dirt as it was built up would be the smart thing to do. They do make machines for that.

  • shoulda dropped the lift axle.

  • @Brandenlytle1 No, they are just there to keep axel weights down for driving down paved roads. Other than that they just get hung up on things and take traction away from the drives. The problem was that the truck should have stayed out or have bien pulled in by a trackhoe they had one there big enough to pull him in. Thats what chains and tow hooks are for.

  • @rocintrucker83021227 i am aware of what a lift axle is used for. I am a liscensed Truck and Coach mechanic. it would have helped the issue he was having with the rear sinking.

  • @Brandenlytle1 I disagree, I respect the fact your a mechanic but dropping the lift axel would not help. As a truck driver with years of off road driving on job sites I know you need the weight on the drives. A lift axel is like the steer axel it will cut in and slow you down and get you hung up. Pit trucks and site trucks that are no longer road able have them removed right away just for that reason. The ground was just to soft and no amount of lift axels would have helped.

  • @rocintrucker83021227 if it's there to distribute weight it would help it go through soft terrain.. i dont care if you've been drivin trucks for 100 years it's called physics.. thats why nail beds dont kill you

  • @shooterman619 I'm not talking about physics I'm talking trucks. A lift axel is dead it dose not help with traction. It can't be locked in to help drive. The only way it could be usefull is if it was like a idler wheel on a tracked machine. Then it would help drive as well as distribute the weight. If you watch the vid closely he dose not stop cause he was sinking he was starting to spin. When the back started to hop that means he was spining. Spining can hurt the drive line loaded or empty.

  • @rocintrucker83021227 bla bla bla physics is physics.. and it applies to everything from trucking to fucking

  • @shooterman619 Physics ? We call them 'Buttons' you push the diff engage BUTTON to turn on your lazy axle and then you FLOOR it. Physics is not needed when you know how to do your job as a second nature and most truckers that have been doing over 5yrs do it as easily as breathing.

  • @mark23q123 if you distribute your weight with more axles it puts less load on the wheels making it easier to move

  • @shooterman619 Hes in a tipper mate that load cant be spread out anymore then it already is. All he has to work with here is skill.

  • @mark23q123 spread in a larger area.. on the GROUND

  • @shooterman619 less load on the wheels means less traction for the drive wheels tho. Just a point

  • @mcconnell51 but less load on the wheels means less sinking and less need for traction

  • @mAdAsZaC and @mcconnell51 finally someone rational.. thank you!

  • @mAdAsZaC you are right about less sinking, but there is also less weight on the drive wheels which will cause them to spin, the more weight, the more traction.

  • @mcconnell51 i have done many MANY hours with dump truck driver (my dad) now im not going to say i think i would know, but i am 200% sure whenever we got stuck we dumped the load (on the property) and told the excavator driver to load us less heavy.

and the less weight means less need for the inertia (and traction). and the less you sink, there for making it like going down any other level dirt road.

  • 6th gear in reverse ,,,,,,,bullshit there is only a high and low gear unless you stall out the engine kill it and get int running backwards ,,then you can use the forward gears in reverse .but thats not happening here

  • i was gonna hold my tongue but............................ first off there's a third rear Axle on this truck that is inter-lockable you can see it is free spinning and should of been dropped which distribute the weight to axle ratio thus allowing the truck to gain more traction at a low speed what a lousy way to get to the drop location

  • That pile of shit does not even look road worthy..Probably way over weight!!Most of the time its retards with 0 education that say gutta do what ya gutta do..Its a dump truck wow the IQ here is amazing!!

  • so whats crazy ?

  • Sometimes ya gutta do what ya gutta do ta get the job dun... High side in reverse, best sollution. Cant kill a mack!!!! :-). Takes a good driver to find a solution, without breaking anything.

  • Crazy would be doing donuts in that thing (with the full load, hell even with an empty load).

  • I'd say the odds are against him! For everytime he doesnt get stuck his pay should double LOL!!!!

  • Did i mis something here? Cause i didn't see it, or got it?!?!

  • There's nothing crazy about that

  • that right there's how ya gotta do it.

  • Amazing thinking billy!

Not a single fuck was given..

  • If that was my old bulldog that driver would be looking for a job.

  • Any of you super trucker see where it all went wrong ?? If you don't you need to change occupations !!

  • @KnowledgeIsTheKey09 I'LL let you in on a little common sense going by what i see. First off it goes wrong when the steer tires hit the soft shit and bury themselves and the truck ends up dragging those big steer tires and slowing it down.

  • Second after he gets through the worse the ground hardens up (SO) whoever was running the job was an idiot, should of had him (DRIVE forward) in and then stop when his steer tires just get out of the soft stuff (Dump) and then turn around on the hard stuff and drive out !!

  • But i found 99% of shit like this is not the truckers fault, it the idiot running the jobs that don't know what there doing , then they blame the trucker when he gets stuck !! I been doing this 27 years !!

  • y they just did not put heavy duty boards down

  • I hope you die doing other stupid shit....really.

FLAG FOR DANGEROUS ACTS OF STUFUCKINGPIDITY

  • thats 1 reason why i like a 2 stick 6 spd Mack tranny. 5 reverse gears. ;) reverse is in the compound (2nd stick) w/ the lo & hi & ya put compound in reverse & ya got your choice of gears from 1 to 5 in the main (1st stick closet to the driver) Had to do this a few times myself (although i hate to do that due to possibly wring a driveshaft ) made a few hundred on bets saying i couldnt get into soft ground loaded i proved em wrong. but it took a winch cat to pull me out. ;)

    Trân trọng cám ơn

  • ive never driven a dump truck but whatta fuck does 6th gear in reverse means? how do u engage reverse and 6th gear at the same time

  • @abelucious 2nd gear box? seen a few like that

  • In later model Macks you can shift going backwards just like you can going forwards, started in the 90's i think

  • just a rookie comment but wouldnt that other axle on the ground help with spreading out some of the weight??

  • @hockyongrass1 yea but it would lift the weight off the drive giving you less traction ;)

  • No, just like backing up through this shit your DRAGGING them big wide steer tires which slows it down and gets you stuck. If you drive through, those big steer tires will stay on top and you can get through it and dump then get out ...of course if you have room to turn around on hard ground. No longer distance than that, should of dumped and let dozer push it,,saves on wrecking truck, tearing clutch out or dropping drive shaft !!

  • oh my goooooodness. . . . . .

listen to the wonderful sound of the turbo spooling. Now that is music to my ears.

  • Must be a Mexican

  • @VERYevilVIDEOop yea cuz you dumb ass white boys cant drive for shit lol.

  • hes a crazy motherfucker

  • must be a bunch of mexicans.

  • wot a complete knob head typical dumb yank

  • if you put down your middle wheels you won't get stuck as much :)

  • @theexitproduct Clearly you dont have a clue do you? That middle axle is a tag axle.It is designed to spread the weight out on the road.It would do absolutely nothing for him to put it down backing in there as it is not a driven axle.

  • @shadowr434 Spreading the weight would mean you won't get stuck as much?

  • @MultiAREE I drove tri-axle dumps for a long time and it does nothing to keep you from bogging out in that type of soft material. That driver is doing exactly what every other dump driver would do except maybe the primadonna Owner operators with the shiny trucks but they dont really like going of road anyway.

  • zzz you have some stones at the side you can put it on the road to make it more harder

  • GIVE ER SHITT!!

  • On the contrary "Class Truck Driver"

  • turbo gwizda ale szofer pizda

  • this is how things how wrong

  • who's crazy?

  • 6th gear in reverse? Do you mean 10-speed gearbox and reverse gear in high range? In that case reverse gear is as fast 6th gear (lowest gear in high range).

  • WOW, SO AMAZING.......not

  • @stuart200sx1980 shut the fuck up

  • @03056932 Faggot

  • @stuart200sx1980 You MUST be gay

  • haul ass in reverse sounds like a good name for an 80s hairband

  • @tsharpmac420 Or a porno

  • @johndeere445 tru lol

  • Sounds like me and my old man, Haul ass in reverse

  • if there would be an european truck he will had no problems

  • i only watched this video to listen to that buetiful mack engine

  • How do I get here...

  • a polak by se ku**wa gruzu podsypal :P

  • @kamilsnk88 Easy for you to say... I guess.

  • движок нетянет, вот и все проблемы

  • not that impressive. I've backed concrete trucks up to garages and then signaled them to stop and they've only been inches away. Don't it many times. But fast enough.

  • Louisiana @ it's finest?

  • 1:10 slychać strzały...

  • 6th gear in reverse??? unless its a double shifter...not possible

  • Gotta be the south somewhere

  • Stupid =_=

  • thats not crazy...

  • cool,exactly 1000 vids :P

  • And this is what rednecks do for fun.

    Welcome to Alabama...

  • Why not just use the "bucket" on the power shovel over there to push it back the rest of the way? It's got the strength, it'll do it.

  • So why didn't he use the 4th axle to help bear the weight?

  • @alloyzz430 You can't use those axles on the ground when backing up. They are steerable (they turn by themselves), so if you leave them on the ground when backing up, they will turn and dig into the dirt stopping the truck. And anyways, when hauling heavy loads on soft surfaces like mud and dirt, you need all the weight on the drive tires to move, or else you will just spin your tires.

  • he's an ass truck driver then?

  • Dumb asses!!! 6th gear in reverse?????

  • hehe i love ass trucks

  • trucks can shift in reverse??? weird.

  • @MrTpengineer Many trucks like this one have multiple ranges and only 4 or 5 actual gears. My dad had a Ford with 5 gears and 4 ranges giving you the ability to have up to 4 reverse gears (not sure if all were usable in reverse). The trucks that I have personally driven generally had 2 ranges but the high range is rarely used when in reverse because of high gearing.

  • @dirtscratcher Oh yea, we have a black lwnmower (off subject) with 2 seperate shifters, one is for nutral, reverse, and forward, while the other is for gears 1-7. But they all work in reverse also. Got it :)

  • please crash..

    please crash..

please crash.. Fuck'n fuck you douche!

  • I'm no trucker but isn't this one of those situations where you drop the drop axle?

  • How do you have a sixth gear in reverse?

  • @calboy5858 Some older trucks had as many gears in reverse as they did in forward.

  • ???so what. that was stupid. thumbs down.

  • Alcohol has to be involved in this somehow

  • @shawnkrause871 U never worked a hard day in ur life you fucking spoiled faggot bitch.

  • @coolhandcanada Wow...that's a reasonable reaction to a harmless comment...Looks like someone needs anger management.

  • @shawnkrause871 WHAT!!! I'll fucking beat you in everything ever created on the planet you fucking spoiled faggot.
