How in the world does Mary asking Jesus to make wine show that she intercedes... So.. If I lived in those times and asked him to make a table for us, does that mean now I would be the one people would pray to? Thats a faulty basis to go off of.
lovely video. i'm neither catholic not christian, but i respect the faith, and i really enjoyed his approach to explaining how this religious tool assists in attaining communion with the catholic deity/saints..
Apostle Paul never prays to Mary, tells anyone to honor her or talk about her, and in thirteen Pauline Epistles, there is not ONE MENTION of Mary as a "mediatrix," "intercessor," "gate to heaven" or any other blasphemous title attributed to her in the official Roman Catholic books (nihil obstat) written by Catholic cardinals and bishops.
rosary is great prayer of faithful and it is great at battling evil spirits and demons. I know because i had many battles in my life. The rosary prayer is good for the saints and faithful ones. Mary will be blessed forever, as it says in scripture. The rosary helped my mom battle against demons. Its a sacred prayer only God can understand full use of this gift prayer.
@DiMeDoUtSoN Look in the gospels. She said to her cousin Elizabeth, "All generations will call me blessed." Elizabeth her cousin, asked, "How is it that the mother of our Lord should come to me?" In Genesis God said to the serpent, "I will put enmity between you and the woman." The angel Gabriel said, "Hail, favored one." The wedding at Canaan, she interceded and asked Jesus to do something... and He did it. He turned water into wine. She leads us to Jesus. Not take His place.
@stansell1 I love how most religious people could NEVER answer a question. They run off with tons of memorized stuff from their religious books but nothing based on scripture. You guys love to change the subject in subtle way. My question was could anyone show with SCRIPTURE where it says we should pray to Mary? Mary was blessed! She was chosen to give birth to the God/Man, Jesus Christ our Lord & Saviour! BUT we are NOT to pray to her. Only God receives, Hears, and Answers prayers.
Thank you for sharing, it can be a difficult prayer and not having prayed it as a child it can be intimidating. @Christians everywhere, it is important to remember Christ's mother as He did in His life (assuming you are here to learn a prayer and not to ridicule) He is our one instructor according to His word. This guidance that we have comes from many places but it exists, this prayer to Christians should be a reminder of what His life was and is, to non-Christians a reminder that regardless
The "hail" spoken by the angel to Mary was "an entusiastic greeting" not an acknowledgement of the divine. Yes she is blessed and so is Jesus her son BUT she is not divine. She was created and acknowledged Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. The rosary is a ritual, we don't need rituals, we have THE Great High Priest - Jesus, He is all we need and all we should focus on.

@laurian27453 Right exactly....the focus is on Jesus..the Rosary is about the whole life and wonders of Jesus, all the focus is on our Lord and Savior...from the time of Mary's immaculate conception through Jesus' birth and his life and death and resurrection. Its about focusing on the events of His life. We do not "worship" Mary, we hold her in high regard as the bible tells us too. There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Christ. Mary's role is to help us become closer to Jesus
The Holy Bible is about the whole life and wonders of Jesus and it is all we need to learn of Him and to think on Him. Man can not live by bread alone but by every word of God. Jesus of the bible is not in the rosary, they are just like pagan worry beads and are used in a mystical ritual with repetative words that the bible warns us against. Mary was human and had original sin, born of earthly parents. Jesus was fully human and fully God. Mary has no role for us - we have the Holy Spirit.
@califgirl11 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
That goes for Mary too - Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" including Mary.
We don't "hail" Mary - Mary is NOT divine nor is she equal with Jesus. The bible says nobody can come to the Father except by Jesus! Mary will not answer prayers - she is a dead person a sinner just like any of our friends who have died, we must not contact the dead! Read " The woman rides the beast " by Dave Hunt. Blessings.
Our Lady has given the world the Rosary of the Unborn as a means to end abortion through prayer on the beads that She designed, She gave a promise to save a life for each Hail Mary said from a loving heart on these beads. @bass109 Sorry but you are mislead. If you want to be protected from demons and the evil one then you need to be born-again and be sealed by the Holy Spirit. You must believe and trust on the Lord Jesus and put your faith in Him not a set of inanimate beads, not a priest, not a wafer, not good works, not even in a prayer but on Him who saves us. Then you need to have the full armour of God, part of which is the word of God, The King James Bible, not a modern bible or a Catholic bible.
@laurian27453 I believe the catholic bible and modern bible came first before the protestant reformation King james bible. I follow the catholic bible because i can fully understand scripture with it, and i'm roman catholic. I like your view though so thank you and God bless in Christ Jesus
@bass109 Thank you for your kindly worded message. This may help you with tracking the origins of the bibles. website : born2serveorg/biblechart. We don't read THE bible because it is easy, we read it because it is the word of God. To understand it, you must have the Holy Spirit in you, by being born-again by the Gospel.
@laurian27453 Where do you think the Bible came from?? King James was in the beginning... CATHOLIC. He was very good friends with the Pope at that time. But upon his separation from the church, he had several books removed. Now what does holy scripture tell about adding or removing to the word of God?? Jesus is our High Priest. He passed on the authority He was given by God to the apostles. Jesus said, "DO this in memory of me." He didn't ASK. Faith WITHOUT works is D-E-A-D.
@stansell1 The one and only true bible in English - the KJB came from the Antioch manuscripts of which there were over 5000 unlike the Catholic and new "bibles" that derive from Alexandrian Manuscripts of which there were about 45. King James was the one who gave the authority for it to be printed. The Antioch scripts are sound doctrine, remember that the bible warns us in the last days that people will not endure sound doctrine.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

@DiMeDoUtSoN Isntead of only reading your KJV Bible, research the history of your faith from both sides; I truly believe you will change your mind once you see the historical truth.
@h0lystrike I have done a lot of research on my "faith". I do so almost everyday. Have you done research on the Catholic church? Their history? The MILLIONS of Christians they have killed? Very interesting. I'm not catholic however about a year ago a friend of mine gave me a rosary which belonged to her uncle who was a monk in southern Kentucky, Gethsemine I believe. Then I stumbled upon Mother Angelica on EWTN and have been praying the rosary for about 6 months at least 5 nights a week.
So is it OK to vary the rosary a bit?? I really like the idea of adding a name to the hail Mary...praying for a specific person or group of persons.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."-Matthew 6:7-8
People, this rosary ritual is repetitive to the extreme. 53 Hail Marys vs less than 20 prayers to God? And even the prayers to God are canned. You don't need this junk, just pray from the heart!
i dislike autocorrect.

Thank you for showing how each person can meditate on the Rosary differently to bring their hearts closer to God.
You are a good man Fr. Martin.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Ty for the explanation , I am an adult looking into the Catholic faith ... I was so confused about how to do a Rosary until your video.
