@ThePidgeottosNest Yeah- that is a puzzler...I think it was the ocean- deep sea tube worms and vents, a mafia graveyard, or a city of gold and pyramids.
Great video- the water is so clear! We just got back from Tahoe and had a great time. Winter, spring, summer or fall it's always all good at Tahoe. Check out our blog about Lake Tahoe Tradition @ebxsf
The history and intrigue surrounding this lake fascinates me. Jock Cousteau said of Lake Tahoe: "The World isn't ready for what's down there," and wouldn't speak of what he saw after a deep submersible expedition.
This was a couple of years ago, I think we went down to 35-40' or so if I remember correctly. We wanted to stay above the thermocline as we were diving in wetsuits.
@SloppierTAY No reason to dive in a lake? Seriosuly? Have you ever been scuba diving in a lake? have you ever been scuba diving in general? Are you even licensed? have you even ever been free diving?
Im going to guess no because if you have been, you would understand the benefit of having oxygen strapped to your back.... And free diving isnt for real men.... its for spear fishing... theres no benefit to freediving whatsoever....
I also live in Tahoe... Tahoe has many legends. but what's exactly true??? The bodies of the chinese who built the continental railroad? Mobsters with their feet in cement blocks? Indian burial grounds??? Whats really there?
holy crap that is as clear a smexico
