To listen to Ms. Battle is pure elixir for the soul. It haunts me and I am playing it over and over again driving to work, during and after work. I loved this movie when I first saw it four yrs. ago and then again this New Years and then I saw Jackie Evancho's concert on PBS. So, I bought the movie and watched it for the 3rd time last night. I know I will watch many more in the future and this song will haunt me still it's so sublimely beautiful. Thanks for posting.

I attended Jackie's landmark Houston concert, but had never heard the song before, and just needed to hear it again that night.

I listened to this breathtaking version, and it allowed me to also appreciate how incredibly well Jackie had done it.

Kathleen Battle's version is indeed gorgeous, but i agree that Jackie Evancho's is even better, difficult as it is to believe that a 10 year old girl is that good. Of course Jackie's version is hampered by poor recording equipment & echoing acoustics in the church where she sang it. Her new album should have the definitive version.
