Science works this way, untill either has been proven. All theorys are equally right. That dont mean they are equally logic, rational. Or good to live by. @skvakagud : Not exactly... Religion is not inherently hypocritical. Some religions are. Some people are. In this specific case, it's more an issue of the priest than an issue of his religion.
He counters Ali G's bullshit (which is definitely just a prank) by using the argument "it's not documented by any kind of evidence", which is a spot-on counter-argument to his religion. The claims of Christianity are not documented by any kind of evidence. That's where the hypocrisy lies.

I use "evidence" in the sens of scientific "evidence", that can be tested, reproduced, verified and that can stand in front of a jury. Im not trying to argue with the idea of the existence of God. All i have stated was that you can doubt the legitity of many historical books other than the bible which are put into the context of education, and are socially assumed to be legit depictions of past events.
