i bought this mouse online and it didnt work,, after keeping it on my desk for a YEAR, something told me to get it out and try it again,, on a forum for 'not working mx1100's' a guy posted that you need to run a logitech LCC connection utility.... the mouse works perfectly as of today, Great Mouse !!!
Do people actually hold the mouse with their entire hand and not the tip of the fingers ? If your palm touches the mouse you're mouse handling is gonna be allot slower and sloppier because you have to move your entire hand. Put the forearm on the desk, grab the mouse your fingertips. But I doubt you can do that with that huge Logitech.
@DeStRoiiR You're quite right. This mouse does lag. It's a shame, because otherwise the mouse is the best I've ever had. For €70, they should have put a better laser in it. On another issue, Logitech's software has been loosing quality since the MX600. Why can't I program every button with the function I want??? I can't assign "double click" to the "forward" button, e.g. It's just ridiculous!
all functions are really great and practical, but it´s not really a gaming mouse. In my opinion, the laser tracker is at the wrong place, not at a central position but in the front. perhaps only a matter of time til i get used to it, but 2 1/2 month already passed. And there´s still some kind of stickslip-effect, although i´m also using glidetapes and -pad. so there are 2 reasons why i have not that precision i had with much cheaper mise; not only annoying during games
Great presentation it helped out allot. Ended up going with the MX1100. Fonda new one on Ebay for $32. I would also like to thank you for supporting my agorophobic spending habits. Soon I hope to actually move into my pc.
@mstrlekar i only changed battery one time, and at that time it didnt even need it. (it was i had to make sure it didnt go out at that time) it worked for over a year with only one battery change... you just gotta remember to turn it of
is this mouse good for gaming at all? i want a new mouse, preferably a cordless one.. i'm not a heavy gamer, just play now and then, so i just wonder if this works or should i get a wired one..?
I really like this mouse. If you are a casual gamer then this should work great for you. I really like it because it is very comfortable for both gaming and casual use.
I've used it for the past 2 years for gaming. It works great and fine for gaming. I've used it on various games like MW, MW2, Black Ops, Borderlands, SC2, etc.
The video incorrectly identifies the MX1100 as the MX600 (there has been no such model).
will this mouse work with the unifying receiver?

DeStRoiiR 1 year ago 2
@DeStRoiiR I've had this issue but in my case its because something keeps getting caught up in the sensor (e.g. pet hair).
Try using some alcohol and a very soft cotton swap to clean out the sensor.

@DeStRoiiR it's generally fine if you have the usb somewhere near the mouse.

I'd like to know the reach on one of these. Got like 10ft to my couch from where my computer is at, which is what I intend to use one of these for.
Anyone with one that can try it out?
