How to make your Acela run over 1,000 MPH in Train Simulator

@robotandlegolover Well you need to find a way to disable the security feature that blocks it. I think it's in the User Account Control, but I'm not sure because I'm using XP.

@tLlXenonFire It should, although it works best with electrics. Sometimes when I do it to a diesel it evaporates all its fuel and ends the activity.

I did it and it says Error reading train database file File: Trains/Trainset/ALCLEA/ACLAENG­. then i start msts up and guees what that train is notin the list

Well, you should have backed up, some people would know, some people won't, I decided to make a copy of my Acela Power Cars and supercharge them for the Megacoaster route, referring to this video!

If you didn't back it up- fear not, the default Acela trainset is fresh, just reinstall it. If you don't have the disc, have someone E-mail or IM it to you.

Note: Sometimes you can add "Notepad" to the Start menu so the thing with the small text shouldn't be a problem.

I think you would use the same method as with the Acela. Most eng files have the same features.

Just back up (or copy)the original .eng file somewhere else.When you need them back,put them into the folder.

i edited the engine file the right way but when i use the acela in explore route it keeps going backward when it first starts and even stop the train and reset it, it keeps going backwards. what could be the problem with that.

woow theres a lot of icons on your desktop lol. yeah i love messing around with MSTS files XD. You can also make trains too! just edit the files in (Consits)

eg. (3 x sd40-2, 50 mixed) file, look at the text, copy and paste to double up every thing in a train set. lol i made set with 20 sd40 engines, and 300 mixed before XD
