@DoctorLoveJuice thats because in NCAA basketball arena's, there are only around 20,000 fans...where in your European football stadiums sometimes eclipse 80,000 fans. Big difference.

the band isn't playing the tune, they're trying to drown the students out with a different song, thats why those kids have to hold up signs to coordinate it.

I remember back when the band would play it, it sounded friggin awesome

Of course u couldn't hear the tune behind it!...they banned the band from playing the song because of the chant the students would do with it. So now, the students yell it over whatever other song the band is playing to beat the system and show them that even if they ban the band from playing it, it won't stop us from chanting it!
