  • I always hated phasers, but i really like this one...

  • haha the ending made me laugh xD

  • Best phase tone I've ever heard

  • It sounds as good if not better than a Mu Tron.

  • I'd like to hear it with their delta trem.

  • Big laugh at the end, Andy! Just another reason I trust you over anyone else!

  • I hate phasers but this one... dude... tear me up

  • this guy loves good music

  • Superb pedal - this is going on the list of essentials.

  • If you look at the tubes on the pedal you can see the guitar player...

  • Phaseomatic Deluxe

  • I am so getting the tube drive, but the other ones, I don't use modulation/oscillation FX enough to justify 400 bucks a pedal. But the Tube Drive isn't a pedal, it's a plexi preamp section that can turn a bare bones amp in to a versatile channel switching (footswitchable at that) gain monster! So you want to get an 18 watt for recording. Spend about 3.5K on a good vintage plexi, or spend 400 bucks on the tube drive and another 50 on an old hammond AO-35 or AO-44 (organ reverb amps) PLEXI CITY!

  • Herbert the pervert at the end of the video

  • o yeah kashmir

  • This is an incredible pedal!

But I'd still prefer one with more of aswishy-swooshy

sound that cuts through the mix. Any recommendations?

  • 5:48 to 5:55 WTF!!!??

  • perfect phaser....

  • PGSD easily has the best gear demos.

  • best best demos ever!

  • great!

  • Leslie Speakers are still produced and sold. They're a staple of Hammond Organs.

  • I have a leslie speaker with my guitar. It's not a "true" leslie but it is a leslie in the sense that it has a rotating cone and speaker

  • What no EVH.

    Damn but sounds good.

  • Kashmir sweet! Great pedal too, never heard of these guys until now.

  • haha the end

  • am i dippy or does efftrode seem to have some pretty good pedals, course cant have them all

  • ZEPPELIN!!!

  • OMG thta last bit came out of nowhere! I couldn't help myself from lol'ing!

Does anyone know what Andy means by "Leslie tones" throughout a lot of the vids? Especially when he's looking at modulation effects?"

  • Type in "Leslie Speaker" here. They predate Chorus and Univibe pedals.

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos hmmm, they predate. They eat them (predate) and come out before them (pre-date)

  • @d0d0Lgarutz - Yes, correct on both counts : )

    -PGS

  • a leslie was a rotating speaker box from the seventies it moved giving a wavering effect

  • What's the first song?

  • Kashmir - Led Zeppelin

  • Kashmir led zeppelin

  • I think ill get a phase 90 and mod it. Dont have room for this on my board

  • You should've done something Paul Gilbertian. He's a huge phaser fan.

  • me likey the Kashmir goin on

  • Cooooooool and exceptionally flexible. WOW!!! I loved the Univibe Trower / Jimi bit.

  • Was that supposed to be Old Greg from the Mighty Boosh at the end? Because if it was, I'm kind of proud, and also a little embarrassed that I recognized it.

  • Is the old man from Family guy!!! aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhgggg!!!!

  • IM OLD GREG!!!

  • Wanna go to a club where people wee on each other?

  • imm old greag lol

  • wut?

  • Problem with pedals like this is that they're sure to get ripped off at a gig. At $400 a pop, it's just not worth it for real gigging musicians. A whole pedalboard full of gear like this is a small fortune. And the only one who's going to know it's a "special botique" pedal... is you. I guarantee: your audience will never know the difference between this and an EH Small Stone. For home recording, it could be a different story, but the end listener still may never tell the difference.

  • That depends on what kind of audience you get...........

  • Some people create music for themselves as well as others. Finding a sound that resonates with you is like therapy. If a guitarist can tell the difference and prefers one pedal over another and it makes them happy.... usually they'll play better. Which in the end will effect the audience.

  • personally i'd rather have a true bypass phase 90 than this anyway. Call me crazy.

  • Indeed. The vast majority of folks are more concerned with what you're playing and how it moves them emotionally than if you spent $200 more on your phaser pedal than the next guy. It is a nice piece of gear, though.

  • i know what u mean, i do love the small stone and this sounds a little liek it

  • i don't understand why it needs 3 tubes for a phaser pedal

  • whats that at 2:36 ?

am i out on a line when i think its blink 182? sounds like their later work, it sounded good!

  • WTF is that in the end?

  • its andy going cracy hahaha

  • Sounded like the old man from Family Guy that's always trying to do Chris...

  • the very ending is hilarious!! nice voice!!

  • KASHMIR =DD

  • lol love the end...

  • im really liking effectrode, these pedals sound so lush

  • Absolutely stunning! hands down the best effects out there today. the attention to detail and build quality is immaculate. Nothing stacks up to these pedals. Andy just said it, "a clas of it's own..."

  • nothing special about this pedal i am sorry to say .

  • funny

  • the end is creepy

  • Disturbed?

  • Did I hear a little Bridge of Sighs in there?

  • yeah I did too, 3:38 haha

  • stack all the effectrodes!!!!!!!!

  • Is that Towlie at 5:50? I'm so high right now, I have no idea what's going on...

  • where do we get the expression pedal

  • like

  • The tubes are the audio signal path and phase-shifters (4 sections). No opamps are used

  • I do love the sound of this pedal but does anyone know where the tubes are in the circuit? Tubes will affect the tone with basically anywhere you put them but i believe there would be a difference if they were just substituting an op-amp or if they directly contributed to the phasing, right?

  • Straight up my favorite Led Zeppelin song of all time

  • cool

  • nice

  • kashmir!

  • Sounds sweet.

  • kashmir all the way
