not his rendition. Sam Beam did a solo session for NPR radio and he did this song with this style. If you want the chords and fingerpicking pattern its on ultimate guitar and probably a bunch of other tab sights. I'm not taking anything away form this guys cover though good voice good guitar playing nice job.

I heard this version on one of his many live performances. I used it then as a reference. As stated in the description.

I don't know about any tabs, but I simply wanted to do a short tribute. I'd never say it's my own version or to own any rights to play it. Everyone has to make up their minds individually about that.

I hope you're not too offended that I covered Sams work without giving it a whole new approach.

I wasn't offended or anything haha I just see it all over you tube where an artist does a new rendition of their song which is then covered by people and then everyone thinks the person doing the cover is some amazing genius for recreating the song. I never expect anyone to do a whole new approach on a song just give credit to the artist which you obviously did so again my fault. Good job though as I stated before.

Really liked it, although I wouldn't have been able to tell from your appearance that your voice would have been like that! Blame Iron and Wine and Bon Iver for the big beard soft voice stereotype. As someone else said, the guitar playing style is also great. Great cover!

Thanks :) I just played by ear. It's a quite easy progression. Three or four standard chords.

You have to try for yourself. There are also plenty of live versions of the original here on YT that should help figuring it out.
