  • Excellent demostration at the end of the video. Apreciatted it very much!

  • Would just like to say I watched all your Integral videos in one day and understand 10,000 times more than I did by sitting in class for 3 weeks. You're awesome. Easier to understand than PatrickJMT too

  • Thank you soo much for this!! very very very helpful!!

  • Thank you very much!!

Thanks to you I am gonna get 100% on my test.

  • SALAMAT!

  • thank you prof!

  • YOU ARE MY HERO. thanks to you, i won't fail my test tomorrow!

    <3

my professor goes too fast and skips steps.

    your pace is PERFECT.

  • He's my hero.

  • Learning the justifications is an important thing to do for those who are aiming for higher SAT scores. They come in handy when you do those really hard problem solving question =)

  • hey smarty, the SAT does not even go to this level, not even SAT II Math Level 2.

  • WOW! You are ten times better than my calculus prof (No homo)

  • Crystal CLEAR. Thank you so much!

  • good and clear , thanks.

  • U IZ GOD!

  • 5 stars, as usual :) love ur series of integrals. thanks for the explanation/"proof" at the end...

  • Great teaching sir (Y)

  • A good way to remember what should be DV is ILATE. From poorest to best choice for DV:

    Inverse

    Logarithmic

    Algebraic

    Trigonometric

    Exponential

  • i have a question is it possible to integrate every function or is there some that are impossible

  • some are impossible to integrate as indefinite... their value can only be approximated from a definite integral...

try to integrate x^x or sin(x)/x or ln(ln(x)) or e^2^x

  • e^x^2

  • thanks it helps me alot

  • ur making math easy

  • 6 STARs!!!

  • thank you for these videos, they help so much.

  • :D You are my hero!

  • you're my best friend

  • very helpful

  • God bless u sir... awesome! everyone wish to have u as a teacher... u r too good!

  • Thanks!!!! this is very helpful!!!!!

  • this is what i needed! thanks a lot!

  • I can say, that I finally understood the integration by parts.

    Thank you.

  • Just to add something, you don't always have to use trial and error when finding what to let "u" and "dv" equal. Always let "u" equal the type of function in this order, and let "dv" equal the rest of the integrand.

    1. Logarithmic Functions- ex. ln(x)

    2. Inverse Trigonometric Functions- ex. arcsin(x), arctan(x)

    3. Power Functions- ex. x^2, 4x^7

    4. Exponential Functions- ex. e^x, 5^x

    5. Trigonometric Functions- ex. tan(x), cos(x)

  • How the hell did people figure out this formula damn...

Btw I can understand all these formulas and use them but I wish I could understand exactly what the dx and u were...still a lil weird to me

  • Even my teacher said he didn't really know what the the dx du dv were exactly eheh

  • This examples are really easy. You can learn how to use this method by doing a lot of examples. As they say "practise makes masters". And my exam is on 11th =( I have to recall this simple integrals and learn how to solve more complicated one (like double, tripple etc..)

  • Thanks for this.

  • man i wish you were my teacher.. i watch all your videos and your videos are about 10000 times better then my professor's lectures.. i love you teacher!

  • You Are Asome I will Pass my exam thanks You. Saludos A Yael Ruvalcaba

  • THANK YOU!!!! you have no idea how much this helps

  • Thank you.

  • Just curious, what book do you use...if any?

  • For these videos, I am using problems similar to the ones in Stewart and also Hughes-Hallett. I don't think either book is a current edition.

  • Yuppi!

  • Thank you for posting this video, YOUR THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great video helped alot.

could you make one on finding the volume of a solid when given a function and certain limits?

  • Yeah, please a video with finding the volumes. Disc and washer method too. I agree

  • I think that you are by far the best calc prof. there is.

    Great explanation!!

    It was a big help.

  • great video thanks a lot it helped me out quite a bit so thank you

  • You are so much better at explaining this than my teacher!!!
