Learning the justifications is an important thing to do for those who are aiming for higher SAT scores. They come in handy when you do those really hard problem solving question =)

Just to add something, you don't always have to use trial and error when finding what to let "u" and "dv" equal. Always let "u" equal the type of function in this order, and let "dv" equal the rest of the integrand.
This examples are really easy. You can learn how to use this method by doing a lot of examples. As they say "practise makes masters". And my exam is on 11th =( I have to recall this simple integrals and learn how to solve more complicated one (like double, tripple etc..)

A good way to remember what should be DV is ILATE. From poorest to best choice for DV:
Inverse
Logarithmic
Algebraic
Trigonometric
Exponential

some are impossible to integrate as indefinite... their value can only be approximated from a definite integral...
try to integrate x^x or sin(x)/x or ln(ln(x)) or e^2^x

For these videos, I am using problems similar to the ones in Stewart and also Hughes-Hallett. I don't think either book is a current edition.
