I've looked into like....five symphonic metal/Darkwave bands (I know this ain't either of those but still I was linked here from some darkwave) and there front man is always a woman and ALWAYS has red hair even if its not their natural hair color xD WHY?!?!? How is a band supposed to stand out when you've got Paramore, Xandria, Nemesea all with red hair. I'm just curious as hell why.

Actually, the scene itself is very thriving, in term of local industry. few bands made it across the seas, but the scene itself is quite kicking and there's a lot of traffic from worldwide bands alongside local ones.

Very nice. One of the things that annoys me greatly is how insular the American music industry can be. Bands like Kamelot are HUGE in Europe or Asia but here in the US are relegated to "underground" status. Bands like this will remain known mainly to people from their home country or areas more open to this kind of music then the US.
