The only "gobbledigook" and "nonsensical" words I heard were coming out of Cult Leader Ron L. Hubbard's mouth!! This cult has infiltrated every corner of Hollywood! It seeks to be the most powerful, and richest, church in the world, and that is why it targets Movie Stars and Singers! Michael Jackson was being seduced by the Cult through Lisa Marie Presley, and he said NO! Now look where he is! DEAD!!! Just My Opinion!!
I've noticed since a lot of Scientology's doctrines/beliefs have been made more public in recent years, the words of L Ron Hubbard himself are suddenly becoming more inconvenient and embarrassing for Scientologists who are trying to refute those nasty "rumors." When you end up denying the words of your religion's founder, there's a smoking gun out there.
I have been diagnosed with epilepsy for about 15 years now and have been told it's unlikely to go away. Couple of years ago I considered joining staff, the Personnel Officer said my medication was fine (however I'd voiced uneasiness about going off medication) after hearing Tory Christman's account with this so-called church I'm convinced they'll say anything to get you on board so as to later gain control of you.
Evil people. I'm sure they'll smother the travolta baby when it's born seeing as it will probably have down syndrome. At 48, she's clearly mentally ill for having a child at this age.
$scientology has no authority to tell what medicine people should or not. $cientology is not a science, religion or cult but a $cam. LRH doesn't know anything other than how to full people and take advantage of. The first time I saw his photos, I had the feeling he was a crook. When I saw people in Scientology every day hip hip hurray LRH i had the sense they are all brainwashed. I am very sure I was not wrong.
I think that this totally takes things out of context and is missing an awful lot of information that Hubbard said that would not make this a situation whereby someone would always not take anti-seisure meds as when he said this it was many yrs ago and there are many new meds available now.
It seems to me that Scientology trys using peoples fame to over shadow the underlining problem! Epilepsy, ADHD, anxiety, mental disease............I almost had a siezure watching that schmuck!!!!!!
Both Hubbard and Crowley are avowedly anti-psychiatry. "Official psychoanalysis is therefore committed to upholding a fraud... psychoanalysts have misinterpreted life, and announced the absurdity that every human being is essentially an anti-social, criminal, and insane animal" (8) (Crowley). Hubbard considered that psychiatry controlled most of society and was struggling to create their own 1984 world. (9)
i really wonder if travolta is thinking about leaving the COS now. I bet he's not, considering they will probably black male him for leaving because he's a popular figure for the church.
Wow...I have no respect for either Travolta or Cruise. And if Travolta allowed his son to die because of some insane backwater religious belief then shame on him.
My dad was epileptic---he was not on a tranquilizer---Dad had grand mal seizures and when he was finally diagnosed and given medication--the seizures stopped and never came back.
I was 14 when the seizures stopped and sooo thankful. We got our dad back. He could not function the 2 yrs prior to diagnosis. He is now retired and volunteers to help people get out of where he was. Take your meds if you have an epilepsy diagnosis...PLEASE!!!

It is not BS, I have seen it work for myself. You are being an anti-religious bigot saying things like that.
Go to the CCHR website and learn the truth about the psychs and psych drugs. Because that is what you are really supporting if you try to tear down Scientology.
That CCHR is against its use for mental condition is irrelevant. This does not preclude the belief in Scientology that the spiritual causes at the basis of these medical symptoms should also be addressed.
I think you've misunderstood something here, Depakote is listed as a "mind-altering psychotropic" in Freedom Magazine published by the Church of Scientology International and LRH was very clear about such psych drugs.
I can show you if you want.
I don't mean to cause offense, but by your logic, it would be okay to use heroin to treat coughs. All psych drugs are dangerous.
"With Dianetics, I can make a blind person see again" what he actually means is "The train is going to be late arriving at the station".
Oh I don't know, why couldn't a blind person be a metaphor for someone who is blinded to there spiritual nature and making them see a testament to realising that?
Oh no we go off on our little tangent of BS. Good luck to you man, hope you become less jaded one day!
"Yeah you're not an over exaggerated drama queen."
Like most Scientologists, he is, but in this particular case he's correct.
A metaphore?! Oh Lordy" You're totally lost in bullshit aren't you? OK then, what is this statement a metaphor of: "Today, Eleanor has arthritis. She is audited... tonight she doesn't have arthritis"
Whilst we're on the subject of literal truths, what is your opinion on Hubbard's 'Back To Life' assist. Do you think that particular HCOB should be taken literally or metaphorically?
I have friends who swear they have seen ghosts. They were fooled and/or deluded too. Evidence? You ain't got a shred. 50+ years of Scientology and no evidence. What a waste of your life.
"You are being an anti-religious bigot saying things like that."
If Scientology was a religion, even I might agree with you, however Scientology is not a religion. Even Hubbard himself said so.
I don't wish to support any of the anonymous cyberterrorism and hatred, but actually I disagree with some of what Tommy Davis said on TV. He made it sound like it's okay to take drugs like Depakote in Scientology, which is incorrect. Depakote is clearly listed as a dangerous psych drug. What Tommy Davis said sounds almost sounds like psych propaganda, and contradicts a lot of things we know to be true about so-called medical drugs.
Why was Jett off his drugs if he had a history of seizures? They never take you off, they substitute with another drug and taper you off the old one gradually. If he was being treated by a scientology doctor instead of a proper neurologist, then that is why he is dead. And people don't die from seizures, they just don't. It appears to me that something is being covered up. Look at the Lisa Mcphearson case and how the cororner changed her decision.
Tommy Davis thinks it is okay to lie, because of something else L. Ron Hubbard said:
QUOTE
"THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN CONTROL PEOPLE IS TO LIE TO THEM. You can write that down in your book in great big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them."
DeliciousCake150308 this video is stretching to make something bad fit. John Travolta's son (may god be with him) wasn't epileptic; which is exaclty what Tommy Davis is responding to.
I'm epileptic and I use Scientology principles with my life (as an applied theology). L Ron Hubbard makes this assertion as a statement of belief/opinion, however it doesnt mean I'll cease taking my tablets because he said so.
People need to exercise their own judgement on what they know to be true!
I will admit it does seem apparent some people have misunderstood Scientology to a degree where it blind-sights them to certain aspects of their reality; however that doesn't mean Scientology, Tommy Davis, Tom Cruise or LRH are wrong!
I believe that Tommy Davis has misrepresented us. He makes it sound like it's okay to take psych drugs, and he undermines Dianetics and Scientology when he says it is separate from treatment of physical and medical illness. Anyone who has read Dianetics knows that Standard Tech can help with all sorts of physical ailments.
The claim is repeatedly being made that Scientology considers sick people as degraded being. Yet, I have never seen this being documented. Care to do so?
As for Depakote, Scientology is only against its use when aimed at mental disorders, not physical symptoms.
"As for Depakote, Scientology is only against its use when aimed at mental disorders, not physical symptoms."
you're talking utter nonsense. so, a harmful psych drug (according to your cult) is allowed when treating a physical ailment, but the exact same drug prescribed by say a psychiatrist treating a neurological ailment is death, doom, and disaster? get a fucking grip on reality you lying deluded fucktard.
go and kill some kids by denying them proper medical attention why don't you?
Yes I know what you're saying but we need to also sympathise with those who don't understand or agree. Unfortunately with religion you can only tolerate (horrible word); imagine if we could reconcile!
Why sympathise with a dangerous teaching? Why sympathise with a "religion" that disconnects families, threatens critics AND it's own members. Why sympathise with a "religion" that teaches elitism and the removal of lesser people?
If Scientology could prove any of its outrageous claims I might give it the time of day, but it can't. Hubbard says Dianetics can cure cancer. Do you believe that? I can list you a dozen other medical claims that have never been proven if you like, with sources.
Well that comment was actually made in response to a fellow Scientologist's comment; I'm saying we need to be sympathetic to your opinions man.
The fact that you blokes get on here and write these long diatribes about how bad it all is, the fallacy it preaches and the narcism that you see in Scientology makes people more stubborn and compelled to dismiss in validity to you.
I know what Hubbard has said, but you should learn to sort between asserted belief/opinion and that which is fact!
"I know what Hubbard has said, but you should learn to sort between asserted belief/opinion and that which is fact!"
Unfortunately, most Scientologists are unable to do that very thing. It is a fact that Hubbard stated Dianetics cured cancer. You can read about it in 'The History Of Man'. Apparently though, Hubbard's written word isn't good enough for many Scientologists.
"Apparently though, Hubbard's written word isn't good enough for many Scientologists."
Well if it's not good enough for you why should it be for someone else. It is true some let Scientology blind-sight them by literal truth (it's like a seventh day adventist compared to a methodist in the Christian faith).
The thing people need to understand is that you don't join anything on blind faith, unfortunately there has been many who have come into Scientology on this rudimental fact.
"It is true some let Scientology blind-sight them by literal truth"
Oh I see now. Silly me! So if Hubbard writes something like "With Dianetics, I can make a blind person see again" what he actually means is "The train is going to be late arriving at the station". There's an art to deciphering Hubbard isn't there? And I though Figuring out the prophecy's of Nostrodamus was complicated!
Does the same literal misunderstandings apply to all the other medical claims as well?
Well ignorance and narcism are obviously strong with you; it seems it would take a great deal for you to tolerate (an ugly word) little alone reconcile that people find truth in Hubbard's writtings.
It's easy to mock us,but then again nothing worth while is easy!
Think what you like mate, I don't need you to validate my beliefs (nor does any other person of faith).
Where's the truth? I can name you a dozen things he claims Scientology/Dianetics can cure. Not one of which has ever been proven. Is that the kind of truth you like?
Honestly, does it not bother you that you've never met a clear, that you've never met an OT? 50+ years zero to show for it.
"It is true some let Scientology blind-sight them by literal truth"
Couldn't help but notice you totally bypassed the example I gave that immediately followed this. Before you point the finger at people supposedly dodging your statements take a look at yourself.
"I'm epileptic and I use Scientology principles with my life (as an applied theology). L Ron Hubbard makes this assertion as a statement of belief/opinion, however it doesnt mean I'll cease taking my tablets because he said so.
People need to exercise their own judgement on what they know to be true!"
Hey if you think the psychiatrist is a stable datum to your existence, I say do it. However it's your decision and I don't have to support you doing it; that's the great thing about freedom of thought.
"...I don't have to support you doing it; that's the great thing about freedom of thought"
Your cult isn't allowing that though. They also want to destroy psychiatry. You may believe people are bigots because they want rid of your cult, I say that same applies to your cult because it wants rid of psychiatry. Advocates of each field would say they both help people.
WOW I must have put a hole in your universe then; being a Scientology supporter and using free thought wooooooo..... I've never onced called Anonymous bigots (that again is you asserting sensless sound-bits to the diatribes you write).

It is not BS, I have seen it work for myself. You are being an anti-religious bigot saying things like that.
Go to the CCHR website and learn the truth about the psychs and psych drugs. Because that is what you are really supporting if you try to tear down Scientology.
ILOVESCIENTOLOGY 3 years ago
That CCHR is against its use for mental condition is irrelevant. This does not preclude the belief in Scientology that the spiritual causes at the basis of these medical symptoms should also be addressed.
anonymoushategroup 3 years ago
I think you've misunderstood something here, Depakote is listed as a "mind-altering psychotropic" in Freedom Magazine published by the Church of Scientology International and LRH was very clear about such psych drugs.
I can show you if you want.
I don't mean to cause offense, but by your logic, it would be okay to use heroin to treat coughs. All psych drugs are dangerous.
ILOVESCIENTOLOGY 3 years ago 2
'heroin to treat coughs'
Yeah you're not an over exaggerated drama queen.
Good luck to you man, hope you become less jaded one day!
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"Yeah you're not an over exaggerated drama queen."
Like most Scientologists, he is, but in this particular case he's correct.
A metaphore?! Oh Lordy" You're totally lost in bullshit aren't you? OK then, what is this statement a metaphor of: "Today, Eleanor has arthritis. She is audited... tonight she doesn't have arthritis"
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago 2
Whilst we're on the subject of literal truths, what is your opinion on Hubbard's 'Back To Life' assist. Do you think that particular HCOB should be taken literally or metaphorically?
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Do you genuinely want my opinion or do you just want to rip on my response?
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"It is not BS, I have seen it work for myself."
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
so to be clear: you are saying that the church has no problem with any of its members taking or approving of psych drugs?
OutEthics 3 years ago
I don't wish to support any of the anonymous cyberterrorism and hatred, but actually I disagree with some of what Tommy Davis said on TV. He made it sound like it's okay to take drugs like Depakote in Scientology, which is incorrect. Depakote is clearly listed as a dangerous psych drug. What Tommy Davis said sounds almost sounds like psych propaganda, and contradicts a lot of things we know to be true about so-called medical drugs.
ILOVESCIENTOLOGY 3 years ago

Please let anonymoushategroup know. He seems to disagree with you.

this video lays out the lies soooo perfectly

Why was Jett off his drugs if he had a history of seizures? They never take you off, they substitute with another drug and taper you off the old one gradually. If he was being treated by a scientology doctor instead of a proper neurologist, then that is why he is dead. And people don't die from seizures, they just don't. It appears to me that something is being covered up. Look at the Lisa Mcphearson case and how the cororner changed her decision.

Appalling.
-L. Ron Hubbard, "Technique 88"
DeliciousCake150308 3 years ago 2
DeliciousCake150308 this video is stretching to make something bad fit. John Travolta's son (may god be with him) wasn't epileptic; which is exaclty what Tommy Davis is responding to.
I'm epileptic and I use Scientology principles with my life (as an applied theology). L Ron Hubbard makes this assertion as a statement of belief/opinion, however it doesnt mean I'll cease taking my tablets because he said so.
People need to exercise their own judgement on what they know to be true!
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
I will admit it does seem apparent some people have misunderstood Scientology to a degree where it blind-sights them to certain aspects of their reality; however that doesn't mean Scientology, Tommy Davis, Tom Cruise or LRH are wrong!
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
I believe that Tommy Davis has misrepresented us. He makes it sound like it's okay to take psych drugs, and he undermines Dianetics and Scientology when he says it is separate from treatment of physical and medical illness. Anyone who has read Dianetics knows that Standard Tech can help with all sorts of physical ailments.
ILOVESCIENTOLOGY 3 years ago 2
The claim is repeatedly being made that Scientology considers sick people as degraded being. Yet, I have never seen this being documented. Care to do so?
As for Depakote, Scientology is only against its use when aimed at mental disorders, not physical symptoms.
anonymoushategroup 3 years ago
anonymoushategroup; You're so full of bullshit, you have to wipe your ears with toilet paper.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
"As for Depakote, Scientology is only against its use when aimed at mental disorders, not physical symptoms."
you're talking utter nonsense. so, a harmful psych drug (according to your cult) is allowed when treating a physical ailment, but the exact same drug prescribed by say a psychiatrist treating a neurological ailment is death, doom, and disaster? get a fucking grip on reality you lying deluded fucktard.
go and kill some kids by denying them proper medical attention why don't you?
HypocrisyPolice 3 years ago 2
Yes I know what you're saying but we need to also sympathise with those who don't understand or agree. Unfortunately with religion you can only tolerate (horrible word); imagine if we could reconcile!
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
Why sympathise with a dangerous teaching? Why sympathise with a "religion" that disconnects families, threatens critics AND it's own members. Why sympathise with a "religion" that teaches elitism and the removal of lesser people?
If Scientology could prove any of its outrageous claims I might give it the time of day, but it can't. Hubbard says Dianetics can cure cancer. Do you believe that? I can list you a dozen other medical claims that have never been proven if you like, with sources.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Well that comment was actually made in response to a fellow Scientologist's comment; I'm saying we need to be sympathetic to your opinions man.
The fact that you blokes get on here and write these long diatribes about how bad it all is, the fallacy it preaches and the narcism that you see in Scientology makes people more stubborn and compelled to dismiss in validity to you.
I know what Hubbard has said, but you should learn to sort between asserted belief/opinion and that which is fact!
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"I know what Hubbard has said, but you should learn to sort between asserted belief/opinion and that which is fact!"
Unfortunately, most Scientologists are unable to do that very thing. It is a fact that Hubbard stated Dianetics cured cancer. You can read about it in 'The History Of Man'. Apparently though, Hubbard's written word isn't good enough for many Scientologists.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
"Apparently though, Hubbard's written word isn't good enough for many Scientologists."
Well if it's not good enough for you why should it be for someone else. It is true some let Scientology blind-sight them by literal truth (it's like a seventh day adventist compared to a methodist in the Christian faith).
The thing people need to understand is that you don't join anything on blind faith, unfortunately there has been many who have come into Scientology on this rudimental fact.
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"It is true some let Scientology blind-sight them by literal truth"
Oh I see now. Silly me! So if Hubbard writes something like "With Dianetics, I can make a blind person see again" what he actually means is "The train is going to be late arriving at the station". There's an art to deciphering Hubbard isn't there? And I though Figuring out the prophecy's of Nostrodamus was complicated!
Does the same literal misunderstandings apply to all the other medical claims as well?
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Gotta give it to you guys; you have an excuse for everything Hubbard screwed up on :)
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Blah Blah Blah Scientologists are all morons... yeah we get your theme of commenting.
Do you say anything else other then a Mr Mackay South Park liner 'Ummm Scientology is bad, MMKAY'?
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
Nope. Scientologists aren't all morons, just a select few.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Oh I see so basically that select few encompass those who actually come into communication with you... like me.
Okay well there's a way of fixing that....Bye TheEvilOfScientology; happy BSing!
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
Well ignorance and narcism are obviously strong with you; it seems it would take a great deal for you to tolerate (an ugly word) little alone reconcile that people find truth in Hubbard's writtings.
It's easy to mock us,but then again nothing worth while is easy!
Think what you like mate, I don't need you to validate my beliefs (nor does any other person of faith).
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"...people find truth in Hubbard's writtings."
Where's the truth? I can name you a dozen things he claims Scientology/Dianetics can cure. Not one of which has ever been proven. Is that the kind of truth you like?
Honestly, does it not bother you that you've never met a clear, that you've never met an OT? 50+ years zero to show for it.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Mate you wouldn't know truth if it was drivng a dump-truck through a nitro-glicerene plant!
All I notice with you is it's all talk and no substance.
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"It is true some let Scientology blind-sight them by literal truth"
Couldn't help but notice you totally bypassed the example I gave that immediately followed this. Before you point the finger at people supposedly dodging your statements take a look at yourself.
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"Before you point the finger at people supposedly dodging your statements take a look at yourself. "
You made two points. Tell me which of the two you're referring to and I'll be happy to mock them for you.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
I'll say it again....
"I'm epileptic and I use Scientology principles with my life (as an applied theology). L Ron Hubbard makes this assertion as a statement of belief/opinion, however it doesnt mean I'll cease taking my tablets because he said so.
People need to exercise their own judgement on what they know to be true!"
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
Fair enough. Like all the other Scientologists I have posed this same question to, it is your right to dodge it.
As for the "what's true for you..." stuff; well you wouldn't take that kind of crap from a psychiatrist would you?
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
Hey if you think the psychiatrist is a stable datum to your existence, I say do it. However it's your decision and I don't have to support you doing it; that's the great thing about freedom of thought.
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
"...I don't have to support you doing it; that's the great thing about freedom of thought"
Your cult isn't allowing that though. They also want to destroy psychiatry. You may believe people are bigots because they want rid of your cult, I say that same applies to your cult because it wants rid of psychiatry. Advocates of each field would say they both help people.
TheEvilOfScientology 3 years ago
WOW I must have put a hole in your universe then; being a Scientology supporter and using free thought wooooooo..... I've never onced called Anonymous bigots (that again is you asserting sensless sound-bits to the diatribes you write).
ryanfletcher481 3 years ago
when you have to lie to protect your so called religion it means you are in a cult
