My dad was epileptic---he was not on a tranquilizer---Dad had grand mal seizures and when he was finally diagnosed and given medication--the seizures stopped and never came back.

I was 14 when the seizures stopped and sooo thankful. We got our dad back. He could not function the 2 yrs prior to diagnosis. He is now retired and volunteers to help people get out of where he was. Take your meds if you have an epilepsy diagnosis...PLEASE!!!

Why was Jett off his drugs if he had a history of seizures? They never take you off, they substitute with another drug and taper you off the old one gradually.
