Personally, this revival of outlaw country is the only thing that has sustained my faith in country music. So few country artists have made anything worth listening to since the late 80s / early 90s. There's nothing like pulling up a playlist that has some good old classics mixed in with the new outlaw breed.

Well boys There are good Jr. songs And bad just as any other singer But I believe that the 3rd Captures more soul and feeling than Jr. and that's what makes me connect with him more so than Jr. Long Live Hank and Shelton and my best to Randall.
I don't think Jr was allowed to develop that soul as much. His mother tried to make jr into a carbon copy of his daddy. I personally think she used him as a cash cow. And many of his problems stemmed from the loss of Sr so young and her pushing him in a direction he didn't want to go.
I can respect that. I don't care for him much either. I'm just looking at factors that may have made him not so likeable. I have a habit of looking for explanations, and silver linings. Though in many cases a silver lining is very difficult, sometimes impossible to find. But in his case I think the 3rd is his silver lining. If it wasn't for Jr. we wouldn't have the 3rd.

Well boys There are good Jr. songs And bad just as any other singer But I believe that the 3rd Captures more soul and feeling than Jr. and that's what makes me connect with him more so than Jr. Long Live Hank and Shelton and my best to Randall.

I don't think Jr was allowed to develop that soul as much. His mother tried to make jr into a carbon copy of his daddy. I personally think she used him as a cash cow. And many of his problems stemmed from the loss of Sr so young and her pushing him in a direction he didn't want to go.

I can respect that. I don't care for him much either. I'm just looking at factors that may have made him not so likeable. I have a habit of looking for explanations, and silver linings. Though in many cases a silver lining is very difficult, sometimes impossible to find. But in his case I think the 3rd is his silver lining. If it wasn't for Jr. we wouldn't have the 3rd.
