Click my profile. I have a couple of vids in different stages. The first is just the exhaust from the stock resonator back. The second is the resonator replaced with a Insynerator bullet muffler. The next three are interior vids and at idle. And the last is full exhaust with headers and hi-flow cat.

I love the sound your car have. I have a setup similar to yours with a different brand of mufflers. (Insynerator 2-Chamber Muffler) I have to make three trips to the muffler shop but now I'm satified with the sound. I should have went with the Flowmaster though. My car is a tad louder. I will click "like" to this vid!

@McDermott011 I love the sound! It's not a high pitched fart can of a muffler, nice low drone on normal driving and deep drone when giving it hell. Yes it is an automatic.

@superbaconz I have a resonator, I ran without one for a day and had to put one on because of the noise. Trust me you want a resonator.

hopefully my cabin noise wont be to loud....im having it installed tommorow.

im only running stock pipes though. so its restricted airflow so i doubt it can be TOO loud also i got super 40s, with that delta thing which makes low resonance or whatever meaning less drone..as long as my fricken resonator pulls through that i just put it 2 months ago. I should be fine. ILL POST SOME VIDEOS UP on the weekend! and ill msg u thru here.

from the cat all the way to the flowmasters is 2.5 inch piping thats it? no resonator and no mid muffler right?

i have a 2003 honda accord 4 cylinder and i was wondering if i took the resinator off and put two flowmaster 40's on if that would give me good sound

@ryhawkeye First, I would not recommend taking the resonator off. When the shop did my exhaust they didn't put a resonator on and you couldn't hear a damn thing inside the car because it was so loud! The radio would even distort because of the noise. Second, you have dual exhaust on your i4?

@ryhawkeye It's going to run you more than 300 $'s if you change to dual exhaust. My exhaust ran me about 450, do some research and keeping searching YouTube to find the sound you want out of your i4.

@superbaconz sorry I don't know the exact part #. It will differ depending on the inlet and outlet size you choose. Mine is a 2.5 inch inlet and a 3 inch outlet. Appreciate the nice comment

lol, yeah cameras can really deceive the actual live sound but it sounded sweet. I've had a handful of 40's, they sound great but always have that thrum in the car/truck. Being this would go on an odyssey with the 3.5 and it's the wifes, it has to be a tolerable good tone. I bet that's one damn fast car you got there- thanks again.

@red1950stude interesting, an exhaust on a minivan. I would be interested to see what that sounds like. The car has better response with the exhaust coupled with the AEM V2 CAI. Sometimes I wish I had the 6 speed but when it snows I'm really glad I have the automatic.

@jonboy0711 i drive a honda odyssey (by choice, dont ask) the flowmaster original 40 sounds pretty good to me. it's not much different from this video (if we used the same camera). the honda accord V6 is the same engine used in the honda odyssey.

@red1950stude when I had it installed there was no resonator. that lasted a day because it was too damn loud in the cabin and was distorting my radio when I got up to speed. thanks for the compliment.

@bulgaria189 There's alot of people that want that G35 sound. It's hard just simply because of the 3.5 liter engine versus our 3.0. Borla always got good responses with its sound but they don't produce anymore and are way expensive. Good luck in your search.
