Sorry Jumuiya im not sure if you are libyan or not but explain what gains there were from the 69 revolution, nothing works there. there is not 1 road in tripoli which is not cracked and pot holed, the education & health care systems are terrible, even the poorest ppl go to Tunis, the political system is non existent, the wages for an oil producing country have been the same since the 1980s? He has spent more in Africa building cities for despots like himself than he did on his own ppl.

the issue is he didnt spend in Libya! there is no infrastructure in Libya. The roads are terrible, there is no fresh water to drink from the taps, electricity black outs, no proper sewage system just dumped into the ocean, gas is done via canisters.

You are a naive person, this has nothing to do with NATO, I agree as a Libyan that i didn't want NATO, however the Libyans would have been massacred without them, as we saw the Serbs do the Muslim Bosnians, and Kosovans, without intervention so this is nothing to do with Gaddafi Vs NATO. Finally! the Algerians are perhaps in the best position to know exactly what is going on in Libya because the same happened in Algeria in the Nineties when radical Islamists rebels plunged the country in a civil war that lasted 10 years killing 200.000 people!. the Algerians were traumatized! a brother killing a brother ..

I don't easily fall for propaganda but I have to say that throughout these crisis, the only reliable source for information on what is going on in Libya has been " Aljamahira Libyan TV" and I mean that 100% ... as a matter of fact every major news event I hear from them is confirmed sometime later by a third party news outlet!

Kaddafi isn't Ben Ali or Mubarak!..all North African countries are very distinct economically and politically!

Qadhafi is a revolutionary, he hasn't mistreated his people with the exception some radical Islamists who were planning to repeat what was going on in neighboring Algeria where 200.000 people died in 10 years of bloody civil war fought by religious fundamentalists who wanted an Islamic state.

But Qadhafi managed to avert the same catastrophe
