  • so is the symbols on the books a code? and if so, how to decypher?

  • just noticing how the busts in the beggining are a detective game!

    SPOILERS!

im guessing bertie killed jacob, florence killed bertie, the twins killed florence, and maude killed the twins. I dont know if maude was killed by someone cause none of them have a symbol of fire above their elegy.

  • a bit angry with myself at the moment. just two weeks ago i was at DW, and i wanted to ride the HM again, considering it's my favorite ride there. but i saw the line was 45 min, so i decided it would be way to boring to wait it through and skipped it. i didnt even KNOW about the new que, cause when i went on the ride in the morning they mustve roped it off because the line wasnt ridiculously long and didnt need it. oh well, im going back next summer anyway.

  • Last time I went to disney was 2006 and I've been over 50 times :) I'm 13 and I think I'll be going back real soon :) gotta love Disney world

  • bubbles?....bubbles really? at the haunted mansion?...fucking bubbles? : (

  • @corridorofdoors1 SPOOKY BUBBLES!

  • Excellent addition!

  • whats with the statues at 0:36

  • @mickeysgal95 game where you try to figure out who killed who

  • I keep thinking I solved the who killed who thing at the being until I get to the cousin.

I know Bertie killed the uncle and got shot by the aunt who was killed by the twins who got their heads smashed in by the cousin. O well this still looks like fun.

  • @laqueebee i noticed that too. but think about it, if everyone else is dead, then who would there be to kill her? then the most logical guess would be that the fire was an accident, though it would be cool if they put jacob's symbol as a fire, like he killed here from "beyond the grave"

  • The new queue looks great... I'm just glad they kept the old queue!

  • They need to do this with many of their rides!

  • All you people who think this is bad are just afraid of change. I think this is an awesome upgrade to the ride.

  • That organ has Thurl Ravenscroft's last name on it!

  • looks really cool, and a lot of great "hidden" tributes to those who designed the original attraction. To most, they'll never figure it out, but to true Disney enthusiast, its neat. Glad to see the original tombstones return also!! I think we were all a little worried about them when they went away. This turned out a lot better then I thought it would. If you know the story, it fits in nicely. It was a rather boring queue before. Nice to see them make it interesting. 2 Thumbs Up.

  • This was okay on Winnie the Pooh because it fit in, but with the Haunted Mansion it just kills whatever theming it once had.

  • @Shmeepazoid If you follow the mansion history, it all makes sense.

  • @Thrash2010ATL I mean I like the things that they added in such things as the Fisher man but I feel that they should've put it on the side and maybe called it the graveyard or something, that way it could've been an optional neat area. But I guess I have to admit it is really cool and although that it kind of threw me off at first I guess there just plusing the attraction.

  • @Shmeepazoid Well, judging by the video, it seems there IS a separate queue for people that would like to wander thru the interactive...which is cool!

  • I embrace anything Disney unveils, like any true fan would..

  • Cheesy, or should I say "Chuck E Cheese"? Ruins the entire atmosphere and intent of the original attraction. Sad that most of the general public has a dumbed-down mentality and will actually find this enjoyable.

  • I prefer the simplicity of the original line, though I also appreciate detailed ones like Tower of Terror, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, etc. I think this looks kind of tacky. The gravestones on the little plots surrounded by railings? What? How is it that some railings, the house, a howling sound effect and gravestones to glimpse on a hill were better than all this?

  • @ExtraTERRORestrial Im glad YOU get it, like the rest of us TRUE mansion fans.....unlike the general public that is too stupid to realize that this is nothing more than a glorified tacky McDonald's playground and ruins the entire mood of this classic attraction.

  • Where the busts working?

  • DID YOU KNOW: The name Ravenscroft, as seen on the organ, is probably a referance to the late great Thurl Ravenscroft, who is one of the singing busts and is also known for the song from the original Grinch animated special and the origianl voice of Tony the Tiger (From the Frosted Flakes commericals)

  • A brilliant example of "plusing" - in keeping with the tenor of the graveyard scene. Can't wait to see it in June!

  • It is very old-school Disney though...

  • A catastrophe. Worst thing that has ever happened to any of the Mansions in their 42 year history.

  • @danolson You're wrong!

  • @disneynut06 NO, YOU'RE WRONG..... then again, what can I expect from a member of the dumbed-down masses? Go back to chuck e cheese

  • Eg I still don't know how I feel about this. I'm glad the imagineers are changing things up, but this queue theme doesn't really make sense to me. Idk I am going to have to experience it first.

  • It all looks very cool! im just wondering if theres to much going on?
