Yes totaly impracticle becaus eof FPS, I just wanted to try it and see if I could work it for jewellery work. The macro would great if it was a bit more usuable.
But of course, we know have the 5DMKII ann Nikon's DSLR that can do video with out any need to be tethered.
im just curious as to how you fix the skipping of the scenes?
when ever i record my scene jumps from one to another.. almost as if my frame rate skips
does this have to do with the shutter speed or any other settings of that matter?

I tried to synchronise audio with this but it was difficult. I don't know if it has to do with a relatively low fps.
I don't know if I have to speed the fps up, slow down my sound bites or tweak it with an NLE...
The hack is impractical, a quirk but the images are amazing.

Is there any way of getting the framerate up a bit?

No sorry, soundbeans.
The frame rate is dictated by the light level... Unfortunately that's what we get for using a hack.
Still if I come up with a solution I'll let you know.
