Amaterasu's whip is a ranged attack that ignores blocking when it strike an opponent with the very tip of it. on top of that the rest of the whip pushes the opponent towards the end of the whip when they DO block along with the tip of the whip holding them in place when striking with it. in other words, shes broken.

I knew of most characters before MvC3 and the few I didn't know IE: M.O.D.O.K I researched on and now I know them very well now, and of course Wesker is much more famous to this generation (AkA THE TARGET AUDIENCE (Excluding high-level play)) than M.O.D.O.K. But I enjoy when people play really good with characters that nobody knows than when I see Virgil, Dante, Wesker parades online nowadays.

So just because high level play has Marvel in their teams, doesn't mean there's a sole target audience.

To be completely honest and respectful, none of these characters have really convinced me to buy this game. Nemesis looks pretty cool and I'll still wait for Rocket Raccoon, but I have more important games to buy this year. They deserve to be in there too, they should at least put Samanoske Jubei in the game, n Jacques n Nobunaga as he's a cool villain to take them on n Gargant that awesome squid head looking guy in the opening of Onimusha 3 would be cool, Fortinbras would be cool as bonus boss enemy as hes big n powerful n would look cool in it, I really hope Vergil gets a bonus Nelo Angelo costume as he was by far the coolest lookin enemy in Devil May Cry.

Glad as I am that its updated game am not looking forward to shell out nearly 50 quid for this, i mean the 12 characters are cool n all and are better than no new ones but why not just have them as downloads too and where is Cyclops? Venom? Carnage? Thanos? Blackheart? Apocalypse? Warmachine? Rogue? Psylocke? Juggernaut? Doc Ock? n Capcom wheres Leon? Krauser? Samanoske n Jubei from Onimusha? Blanka to name a few...
