??? it has legs but what is the point? they are to small to do aything? in the concept shown on the computer it seems to be used for going off road. that would never work with those tiny wheels and stuby legs!
Of course not, but you saw in the video presentation that the actual vehicle would be much bigger in scale.
I can't help but see obvious military applications for that tech, should it work in the field, that is. Imagine a tank that could traverse any terrain, or a missile launcher platform that could launch from anywhere.
i don't even have to use imagination. USSR had such carriers and launchers decades ago. and they actualy are doing good without legs. you must know, what a deal to break through Tajga and Tundra. the only obsticle they are not prepared to are the rock mountings. and also need drivers, but who's gonna leave nuces for drons?
Probably, the actual size of the robot is larger than this model. But I may be wrong. The small robot could walk through a corrupted building to search for survived people.
Because the east think robots will be the key point in in moving earths civilisations forwards...and the west's government are intent on using robot technology to better methods of destroying humans.
Ask any western person how they think the world will end. Most believe it will be because of America and their never ending goals of gaining the strongest foothold on the planet.
Unfortunately for Americans, the rest of the world hates them, and as such they will never survive a world war.
easier and cheaper to just walk yourself isnt it? wtf can this do what a human cant? i am all for new tech but this thing just seems like a rich kids toy and nothing that has any real use.

wow this bitch is stupid, "without building roads" im sorry but your a couple hundred years too late LOL theres ZERO need for this peice of shit considering there is roads in almost every decent country
Did you ever consider other planets where we have not yet built roads? Or that the technology used in this robot may be useful in advances in on road vehicles? How about...
Transformers?

I wonder why NASA would not consider this idea for the MARS probe. It sure will solve the problem of going into soft soils.

I think that maybe the mobility of this robot is overstated. I was much more intrested in the way it was controled.

Yeah, the cockpit and control mechanism with active force feedback is more important than the robot IMO. That's the tech that seems really useful.

why does the west think robots are going to destroy us and the east thinks there here to help us?
