Hey that's my video footage taken off google video. I must be the only one that took some video before it burnt down. We came all the way from New Zealand to find it. Glad we did. Will repost to youtube. I think i came improve the quality.
I love this buidling ... the style it had! Such a loss ... I even bought that movie xanadu just to see the small bits of the place they use in the movie.
i have always wanted to see that building in person... never got to... always been fascinated with it. such a beautiful building and so much history behind it... such a shame it was not cared for. shame on LA officials for not doing something.

I know, It's really a shame that such a prime example of this style of architecture would be allowed to fade away like it did. I wasn't in LA at the time, but wish I had been.

I was there over twenty years ago I took a lot of pictures but I was afraid to go inside.

It was cool
The New one is Cool but not the same .

Boh, das alte Xanadu Gebäude. Ist so schade, daß dies abgebrannt ist. It is the old Xanadu Building, and its burned down.
