Great review, as usual! I also have a katana that I leave on display in my room. In this video, your katanas are harmonazing with your Namiki Falcon! ;) Unfortunately, I don't have any japonese pen, probably, because I'm adiccted to the very bold nibs (BB, 3B, Broad Stub/Italics). However, I like flex, springy and soft nibs and the Falcon pen is a good tip. Cheers,
@fabrimedeiros9888 Katanas and samurai swords make perfect sense: the Warrior should aspire to excel in both the Way of the sword and of the pen - Musashi himself said so ;-)
you got the namiki falcon that is the resin pen, that's what it is light, take a look at the pilot falcon which is a more heavier pen made of metal but cost almost twice.
I wish, they would all stick to Standard International Cartridges...
I have given up searching for flex pens, I now prefer "fake flex" meaning italic, stub, OBB and so on. I can't really get to grips with the flex writing. However a text written with a flex(y) nib looks better than one written with a "fake flex".
If you want it heavier get the pilot metal falcon

@pachystomiasmicrodon Indeed, that's an option - but the metal version is considerably more expensive than the resin version :-).

@youhewett Indeed! The supplier I got this pen from didn't have the metal version. It would be cool, but indeed, the price increases significantly...

@arguan True Copperplate is difficult to master - very, very cool looking, but difficult to master (which I don't)...
