Don't make that big of a deal about some snow. If that's too much, them don't bother coming to Atlanta on every Third Monday of January. The temperature gets progressively colder and colder each year.
the first time i saw snow was around early January of 2010. I live in Louisiana, and that was the first time i ever saw snow in my life. Too bad it only lasted a day though. At least i had fun making a snowman while it lasted
Down at Arlington our streets were covered in sheets of ice. I lived in Nebraska for a year, and snow is definitely worse up there, but everyone expects and is used to extreme snow up there. Down here I got to watch people slide through intersections.
it snowed once in Mesa,AZ in the early 90s. i never would of thought that i would have a snowball fight in the DESERT! it was awesome. everybody was outside playing with it.
@doogrisa I know the flag of Texas, but search in google "flag of Chile" and compare it with that of the video, it looks much more like that of Chile, wondering why
That's pretty cool. :3 We've been getting a big storm almost every week here in the Maritimes. ._. At least we get a couple days of sunshine after though!
Meanwhile, Canadians vacationing in the area have yet to bother putting on anything more than tshirts and shorts, while very quietly laughing their collective asses off at the locals that have no clue how to handle such weather.
Hey, Richard, I didn't know you were from my home state. I thought you lived up north closer to James Rolfe (AVGN). How are things going? Will you have Stupidfingers back up anytime soon? What new things are you working on making video game consoles into?
I know, I've taken my fair share of ice-laced snowballs to the ear when I lived up north. ANY amount considered a sign of the apocalypse in this city though, especially if it sticks.
Used to live in San Antonio, only snowed once when I lived there. This looks ALOT worse than that, but that's not saying much. I live in Chicago now and we have friggin, 7 foot mounds in our yard.
What cracks me up is how the city responded to it. "Salt trucks? Nah. Let's just shut down ALL the highways, much easier". Seriously. People in this city don't know how to drive under NORMAL conditions. Throw snow into the mix? The cars immediately flip upside-down.
@vomitsaw Just curious, do you have special tires for snow in the U.S? I guess in Alaska but where else? remember one time in the winter when my mom forgot to put on the winter tires and when we drove out of town we crashed in the ditch, after doing a BARREL ROLL. Ahh snow how I love thee <3
@vomitsaw Man in houston they shut down the schools and we didnt even get snow just a little bit of iclcles on our cars. To be honest people really dont know how to drive under normal conditions here in houston for sure.
Greetings from Pittsburgh. Snow sticks every year here. Only a foot or so a year
