i love the scene...Bill's so drunk that he doesn't recognize who he's talking to...and he proceeds to spill out his thoughts about his family to who he thinks is a stranger.
Poor Bill. Poor Bert. I guess this was her penance for haranguing him through the 50s. Ed Bryce plays a good drunk. I read an interview with him and his wife back around 1996, they talked about using sitcom episodes to help with their church work. I think Ed passed away a few years later, sadly.
