If we lived when Jesus Christ walked the earth and wanted to know the truth of what he taught and what kind of person he was. Would we ask the Pharisees or Sadducees who absolutely hated Jesus? Consolation is hard to come by even in prayer. Without anywhere to turn for much needed love and compassion, it's amazing that more JWs are not driven out of their minds. If only the forsaken one could walk into another church to find comfort and understanding, but such is not allowed without incurring even worse incrimination.
The Witnesses won't admit it, but there is far more genuine love in other denominations. Even when they see it first-hand, they deliberately turn their faces from it.
Intolerance toward the views of other Christians, lack of charity toward needy persons outside and even inside their membership, and inflexibility in condemning and vigorously shunning former members all combine to make theirs a nightmare religion.
Their own literature conveys the full flavour of this nightmare. Page after page booms the propaganda into every member's home and Kingdom Hall that EVERYONE not a JW will be slaughtered by God at Armageddon.

I listened to a man on the John Ankerberg show who said when he worked at the Watchtower headquarters they asked for all the witnesses to send in certain Watchtower magazines for their archives. In the early 60s the only cure for that was an exchange transfusion. Due to the JWs blood policy she was not given the transfusion. She was left mentally handicapped for life. So when you think that the witnesses are good, think about your son. Could you condemn him to a life where he will never marry or have kids?

I downloaded, talked to other "experienced" people. Four weeks of jehova witness "LAWS".....good GOD!...these jehova witness people are too horrifying to be true but lady, you nailed it. They also recognize they must follow the Son of God Christ Jesus, accepting his ransom sacrifice for our sins. Consolation is hard to come by even in prayer. Without anywhere to turn for much needed love and compassion, it's amazing that more JWs are not driven out of their minds. If only the forsaken one could walk into another church to find comfort and understanding, but such is not allowed without incurring even worse incrimination.
The Witnesses won't admit it, but there is far more genuine love in other denominations. Even when they see it first-hand, they deliberately turn their faces from it.

I listened to a man on the John Ankerberg show who said when he worked at the Watchtower headquarters they asked for all the witnesses to send in certain Watchtower magazines for their archives. He was shocked to get the order to burn them as soon as they came in to dispose of the evidence of their false prophesies. All through the old testament Jehovah says he is the only savior. Luckily I was not annihilated in 1975 at the Battle of Armageddon. When my brother and I were kids , my best friends mom was a JW and told us we would soon be annihilated in 1975. Years later I asked her what happened. She said she never told us that. Imagine our surprise when we both discovered that we must have dreamed it several times when we would visit their home. Lauren: the witnesses are great people but a bad religion. I'll leave you with this brief story. When my aunt was born with RH positive blood to a mother who was RH negative. In the early 60s the only cure for that was an exchange transfusion. Due to the JWs blood policy she was not given the transfusion. She was left mentally handicapped for life. So when you think that the witnesses are good, think about your son. Could you condemn him to a life where he will never marry or have kids?

Rather than continue to wait for the end of the world and have their hopes dashed to pieces when it doesn't come in their lifetime, JWs should do what JWs are taught not to do—hitch a ride with a world that is continuing to move on to make life better for all of society in the here and now.
Life is too short to waste on JWs fantasies and dreams. If we love our neighbor as ourselves, we will help humanity, not hope for destruction of everybody not a JW.

Hi to the lady uploader!, I'm a male (60 years old), and my wife was 'swept away' by your very gentle, harmless way they come on to people. Long story short. I downloaded, talked to other "experienced" people. Four weeks of jehova witness "LAWS".....good GOD!...these jehova witness people are too horrifying to be true but lady, you nailed it. The JW's are the most bat-shit insane "religion" I could go on for a lot longer but its over. It almost ended a 20 year Love.
