These people really do exist but THEY are the ones jumping out of windows eventually. Look at where this naive mentality has taken this nation......the way of Rome. If only it were that simple-but for every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. Snicker.
Not even close. I'm a straight A MBA and computer engineer but that's not what it takes to make that kind of money. If you don't have money, THAT kind of money is generated by either ruthless innovation combined with the ability to profit from it or the ability to profit from other's innovation ruthlessly.
You're not the sharpest took in the shed are you? I was responding to your comment that you thought I might be one of them (snicker). I'm not. I'm not that good/bad.
Unfortunately I work for a real asshole like this. I never thought such people really existed. I used to admire Gordon Gecko when I was younger... but not anymore. People like that deserve to burn in hell for eternity.
read toby youngs book,"how to lose friends and alienate people".most americans who've got wealth are BORN into it.a tiny percent go up a class, the rest do the lottery.
"read toby youngs book,"how to lose friends and alienate people".most americans who've got wealth are BORN into it.a tiny percent go up a class, the rest do the lottery." LOL this the biggest misstatement I've ever heard. 80% of millionaires in this countries are selfmade. Read The Millionaire Next Door
The type of millionaires described in The Millionaire Next Door are not anything like the Gordon Gekko character or the "player" he is talking about. That book is great, but it describes people who have become millionaires by being frugal and just saving. And also, let's be real, a million dollars is really not that huge of a net worth in the 2007 in the USA.
I was replying to someone's comment where they referrerenced the book The Millionaire Next Door. That book is talking about people who are millionaires with $1m +. The type that they profile in the book are normal people who have accululated some wealth by careful investing, saving, etc. Gordon Gekko is talking about "player" money as he says ($50 - 100 million) which yes I agree is real wealth. You misinterpreted my comment.

These are the people that walk over a carpet of bodies to perch in their mansion sucking on a $200 cigar and $2,000 bottle of cognac.

It's spelled with an "h", and I was pointing out your lame response. The snicker signified the fact that it was OBVIOUS you were not one of "them".
