I think you will find the main objection is to increased taxes on literally everything based on fraudulent science. Of course we should stop dumping waste in the oceans and cutting down rainforests etc etc. Just don't worry about Co2.

Every nation should strive to be as autonomous (energy wise) as possible. Reliance on foreign oil is not good.

I don't believe in all this global warming shite, yet I am a big fan of Toyota (mainly due to their TPS - a.k.a Lean/Agile - and their Psius', plus I am always researching documents I find online related to alternative energy to see how it can be used in households. (My Mother actually has solar energy @ her house).

Energy security is important, we don't want a Country to be able to 'attack' us using economic warfare (fuel is just a resource, after all).

For that to happen we'd have to have no way of paying for goods/services, there are a large number of alternative currencies, plus barter, and many people use these daily. He's only been industrially active for a couple of hundred years. Astronomical facts show that the sun is in a quiet phase and solar flares are minimal. The warm-cool-warm climate cycles on Earth are very very long; they dont just happen in a few months. It is indeed a huge tax scam, because people merely believe all they hear and read.
