It seems clear from talking to people in Rockford and reading some of the articles in the Rock River Times that the corporate forces at work in privatising Rockford schools are winning. There seems to be no effective leadership on the side of the teachers or the parents of Rockford students. I fear the education system in Rockford is doomed.

The Rockford Public School Board seems to be trying its best to destroy public education. Are they trying to be a part of the 1% who are squeezing the hard working middle class?
