I'm 18 and I love learning about WW1 and WW2 and anything of the past, but it seems like kids my age would not like to discuss anything to do with WW2. Every time I refer something to WW2, they look at me in puzzlement. I have yet to meet another teen that has any knowledge of WW2. Most popular audiences of these history videos are 35-64 yo, so are today's younger generation much less aware of history or perhaps they have better things to do such as facebook and I'm just dwelling in the past...

@diurite You are absolutely correct. The only reason Limey Montgomery ever stood a chance was because Rommel was only given limited Tanks and supplies by Hitler. The funny thing is, Rommel still almost defeated the Limey even though Monty had him out tanked, out gunned, and out soldiered. Rommel wiped out 200 of Monty's tanks at one battle and Rommel only lost 30. If Rommel had Hitlers full support he would of ANNIHILATED Montgomery very very quickly early on.

When Rommel came back from Africa and told Hitler to cancel the North African campaign, Hitler refused. After that Rommel and Hitler had an argument and Rommel was excused. He then found out about the atrocities and went back to Hitler and told him " I only fight clean". Hitler argued with Rommel again and Rommel left. Rommel then new the war was lost.

It is an exaggeration to say that Britain (specifically Churchill) won WW2, it is no exaggeration to say that they prevented the Axis from winning it. Ya Russia did a large percent of the fighting, but really they still had the Germans outnumbered ten to one at the very beginning of the campaign, it's stupid to say they did more work than everyone else, they had the largest army, so the Germany throw the most at them.
