The claw in the shadow is there because originally they were oing to have this eggman in the game but then decided to cut him before his design was complete, thus giving the finished shadow but unfinished eggman!

this version was obviously cut quite early.. it looks SERIOUSLY incomplete. (its arms are sticks, treads havnt been "repolished" [the word im looking for escapes me atm, so that will have to do. i dont mean shiny.])

I think if you use the fighting vipers cheat you can play as eggman without a mech. This version was never included in the retail game as a playable character, but if you hack a rom you can play as all of eggmans forms, eggmans robot assistant, metal sonic, rocket metal, super sonic, and honey.

That's because it's a reskin(?) of the Eggman at the final battle, just the shadow doesn't change

A modified trainer will be released once the new version of the emulator is released, which I would guess would be within the next two months. The trainer, however, will not include the unused boss.

I now have proof that this was a model edit of normal Eggman. Some of the data for this is there, but the biggest portion of it isn't. The model is there, but the character data isn't, thus, this is a model swap.

Well, yes. That wiki entry was created from my research. I had to map these objects onto player one's data on top of the normal final boss. It was the only method at the time. As for model editing, that's still currently impossible. The reason he flashes back to normal Eggman is because the game overwrites my hacked values for a brief moment. if u also inspect eggman's shadow u can clearly see that its still the same shadow has for the REAL boss

(u can see claws when the character dosent have any)

Unfortunately, shadow data is quite different from the character data. Yes, you would see the normal boss's shadow because I've only mapped objects to the normal boss. Note he also has all the normal boss's moves. I've triedto get him to work normally, but have failed. The shadows are just all black 3D objects of the character except flattened and stretched as needed, this allowed for a quick and easy shadow engine for the Model2b hardware, instead of casting and rendering shadows in real time.

Well that's just great. I domineated Sonic Gems. I did everything that was worth doing in the game. Now I can do anthing else in that game. I'm stuck with the boring eight + Eggman(regular final boss), Metal Sonic, and Super Sonic.

Yes, it's hacked, but all of this Eggman's data is within the arcade game. I did not add any 3D models or alter any graphics to get this result.
