  • Capoeira Angola is not slow, Capoeira Angola is capoeira mother Capoeira Regional was born in Capoeira Angola, Capoeira Angola is therefore all!

  • @fruitycoconut capoeiradoesn´t have to get monopolized for there to be a socalled ¨true¨ federation there are many great schools all with their own systems originally capoeira didn´t use cords anyways so find a school that suits you with a friendly respectful atmosphere and you won´t be disappointed.

  • i will have my first angola lesson tomorow but i wondering how it can be useful with that kind of slow movement ?

    please?

  • @fruitycoconut allow me to answer your query, Angola's slow movements can be considered as muscle memory, in the sense where as you learn the techniques you can speed up your movements at will and adjust the speed of them as well I hope this helps good luck and train well!!

  • AEEE! DEIXA O MENINO JOGAR =D

  • In the description it says that angola is different then heishonau....... Typo.... It should be regional. Good clip.

  • The Yin and the Yang of Capoeira... Hmm. That's probably the best description I've heard yet of Angola in comparison to Regional. Good job!

  • "Capoeira e de quem treina" those are the words of my mestre a real mestre!!! and Cachaceiro bro, u dont even have a picture or a video that can support who u are.... where is your work?? where are your students to support you??? its really easy to talk shitt hidding behind a fake name and no capoeira!!!

  • cavalo stop the fake accent!!!!

  • yes.. i agree with cachaeiro... its many people dont understand that capoeira angola is "popularized " by mestre pastinha ...but the fact is it created by brazilian slave. the bad news is.. we dont know who create it right? so mestre pastinha developed capoeira angola..not create it..

  • Unfortenelly, a lot of unprepared guys goes to a lot of countries and expand wrong information for the people up there.

it´s a shame for our art that this fakes instructors had a lot of chances when the true ond masters are in Brazil, with a lot of knoledge to share.

  • Cachaceiro12345 = Internet Angoleiro

......Maybe you should spend less time commenting on videos and more time training........Thx Grao Mestre Cachaceiro for your wisdom!!! lol

  • @monsita21 cachaceiro is right though pastinha didn't create angola it was a mistake I guess the guy who made this video Cavalo is a good friend of mine he used the word developed which is a loose term but pastinha did not Create capoeira angola

  • @maocapoeira His name makes that very obvious! Maybe Im wrong but wouldn't he have an African name!? Please educate me if you can.

  • @prophit06 african name??? please rephrase your question...

  • @maocapoeira I guess what I'm asking is if this was an art created by Africans to survive against Portuguese oppression, wouldn't its creator/s have more African types name!!!!!???? I'm new educate me brotha!

  • @prophit06 unfortunately the first thing the portuguese took from the african people were their names. Just as was done in america. it's one of the keys to robbing someone or their identity in order to better control them. although there are some historical figures in afrobrazilian history that have african names there aren't many.

  • @prophit06 the first step in controlling someone was taking their original names and changing it to their owners name. there are some historical afro-brazilian figures that had african names like Rei Zumbi and Ganga Zumba look them up it´s very interesting they have videos on both of them here on youtube.

  • @maocapoeira that's what's up bruh respect! Imma look them up.

  • Capoeira Angola wasn´t developed by Master Pastinha !

Was created by the slaves that came to Brazil.

It have almos 300 to 400 years, when Pastinha has borned only in 1889.

Please people, choose right the guys who´s gonna teatch or tell you something about our culture.

Capoeira Regional doesn´t have jumps, Master Bimba told his students that in Capoeira Regional, one of the parts of the body (means feet or hands or even the head) have to be on the ground.

    let´s research a little more.

  • That's interesting, because Mestre Acordeon told me he loved to do backflips (mortal) when he was younger. He was Mestre Bimba's student for many years. But you are right, after sitting down with Mestre Acordeon, many groups have the wrong idea about Capoeira, at least Mestre Bimba's modern methods. However, during Mestre Bimba's time there were many other teachers alive who did their own thing. Mestre Bimba was just the first one to really organize training methods.
