I think a true fan of a musician would accept the fact that people have chapters in their lives. You and I do - and Bernard Sumner is no exception. I accept this music for what it is - the art of a group that has the roots of so much musical history entwined in it that it frightens me. Bernard Sumner, and Bad Lieutenant are amazing. They might not have the synth beats and chilling vocals of New Order, but New Order had it's place. Let's all give Bad Lieutenant a chance - For Bernard.
