this guy, Zimmer, is an absolute genious! thanks for uploading and sharing with us all!
of course, on the same level are Horner, Williams, Morricone, Thomas Newman, Michael Nyman, Alan Silvestri, Harald Kloser and sorry if I forgot other giants, they make half of the value of a movie. only a few notes of their music recalls many scenes...sheer pleasure
Genius like Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Patrick Doyle, etc. and their music, of couse, are who reminds me that we're capable of such beautiful things, that not everything is scum, that there's true talent, emotion and passion out there. It's truly inspiring.
last year in november i splited up with my wife, she went away with our Kids, i followed her into a new unknown town... since that... i am cryin every eveninng and cant stop thinkin at kids...
but when i listen to hans zimmer... there is always hope...
the hope dies at last... dont surrender keep fightin guys!
Music is an opinion that one chooses to like or dislike; it is a reflection of individual thoughts and feelings upon which is the truth of what makes us indiviuduals that sets us apart from each other; it is in its own nature the spirit of humanity. The music that Hans Zimmer has written and produced is in its own words a reflection of humanity that will live forever.
Thank you Mr. Zimmer, for the emotions of music that is the poetry of humanity...
If I'm honest, Inception is a hugely under reated film, it rivals so many films that get more coverage that don't have the depth and mind that went in to this song and film, its one hell of a film!
I have tied this song to Cobb's line "come back!", which he delivers just before the song kicks in in the movie. Because of this, this song tells me of the sadness and hurt of being abandoned by someone. And yet at the same time, it accompanies the (supposed?) happy ending of the movie itself. It makes for a really weird, mixed feeling in me. I am not sure I can describe it any better than that. As if it wasn't memorable by itself.
Awesomely epic. If I die a gazillionaire, I'll hire Hans Zimmer and this entire ensemble to play "Time" at my funeral. Well, maybe not the white-haired synthesizer guy. Check out 1:56 - 2:00. This guy is really into it lol. "Look, you can love your synthesizer - just don't, uhm... LOVE your synthesizer". ;P
@HaggardFlea Because back in the 1980's the removal of music arts and culture development in public schools was no longer supported as an important roll in life for children and education. It is sad that education now is just the robotic functions that no longer teach humanity; education now is just a tool so that people are trained to adapt without individual thought...
No matter what I'm feeling; whether it be sorrow, anger, joy or else, I listen to this song, and, seriously, it gives me just what I need to go on. I always get lost in this masterpiece; letting the music and notes wash over me as tears trickle down from beneath my eyelids. No matter how many times I've heard it, it moves me beyond words and never fails to amaze me.
Hans Zimmer is honestly a genius and this is truly a song of wonder. <3 Thank you for uploading this piece of art.
God bless you; may the universe bless you; may this reach all those hard hearts who have forgotten the power of love is far stronger than the love of power.
That totem won't stop until the end of the music. So is this a dream? Is this just a simple idea of perfect music in my mind? Then I prefer to keep dreaming. :)
