Your assesment is pretty spot on and A and B are related to the same adjustment.
A pair of screw at the back of the trem. Slackening/tightening the screws controls the amount of pull up/down. I've got it setup for a moderate amount of pull up (I try to get the g string to go up a minor third on all my non-floyd trems) and as such you can't push it down as far as it would if you sacrificed the pull-up option.

...Sort of answer's my first two questions about this model on a LP.
A. Can you pull up, and how far: I see you pull up 2.5 steps....a minor third or so.
B. How far will it dive...seems it goes further then a Bigsby, but not quite AS slack as a true Floyd Rose.....
Are A & B related to the same adjustment.
.....I.E. does it go COMPLETELY slack if you sacrafice Upward Pull?
