don't think people realise this isnt a metallica concert, most people awere there to shit like madonna and black eyed peas. Metallica played wembley shortly afterwards and let me tell you, the crowd was fucking awesome.

For once i am ashamed to be British, to everyone else who isn't from the UK don't be fooled, we are not all like this, most of the people in there had probably never heard of Metallica before. I went to see Rise Against the other week and the crowd was awesome but this crowd should be ashamed, I've seen livelier crowds at funerals.

you won't get it.. let me explain it to you. this was all about a "festival-against-global-warmi­ng" so of course they wouldn't play "fight fire with fire" cause that might've backfired.. you know what i mean... being metallica you cant play stuff like "dyers eve", in this case you just have to get the audience into the music and the lyrics,

but as we all saw, london was the wrong place to be for metallica, judgeing by this lame crowd reaction..

sadly this crowd was full of mainly pop lovers, the idiots who watch x factor etc, they played wembley the day after in a headlining gig and believe me the crowd was unbelievable, look up memory remains wembley 2007 to prove it

London is England's capital (albeit in a southern part of england...) so it had to be there instead of Manchester where it'd be better.

This was also a festival with mainstream acts so the crowd won't all be headbangers.

lol..The crowd hasnt got a clue whts going on. And the very next day, there was a riot there - James said "The story is bit different today than yesterday". It was a full blown metallica show :)

I think James Hetfield gets distracted a few times by the lack of feedback from the audience.. Hes thinking.. Is this shit not good enough anymore??? I think it's a wakeup call for him.. The least the audience could do is show some fucking respect.
