would love to see lufthansa operate a b777 but they also need to update there livery its getting kinda old now and also cant they revamp star alliance i like the black tail fin but they should probably paint the 5stars into some colours maybe black tail with blue stars

lufthansa did have the A340-200 in their fleet, the last to be retired actually had a name, called 'lubek'

scandinavian92 is right i guess - the aircraft seems a bit short for a A343.
and yes...lufthansa HAD several A340-200 - for almost 10 years. they joined the fleet in 1993 ;)
