  • great indian dancers , i love bihu.

  • awesome!! lovely song

  • Folk music always melodious. Folk dance is always attractive. Bihu is a special one where songs, music, dance troupe including the instruments attarcts everyone. "Bihu" is unique and it mesmerise every Assamese, irrespective of caste, creed, religion. We should proud of BIHU and preserve it in its original form.

  • oh my god what a beautiful song and dance. God bless them all.

  • THE BEST SONG,I LOVE THE PLACE WHERE I GROW UP.I ALWAYS MISS ASSAM.

  • great video !

  • nice song very beautiful

  • bohriya bohut bohriya kela

  • The singing is stirring and soulful

The dance is sensual as it is graceful...

And the combination is an unusual

    and a delectable audio-visual!

  • Nothing is more beautiful than traditional musical instruments. Esp in Bihu songs we should avoid using electronic instruments. I dont find anything nostalgic other than dhol and pepa...........

  • WOW !! what beauty could be described as is in this...the Rythem the vibes the divinity of all harmony and Romance. Be proud to be a Bharoo Basi where

resides depth and beauty in such expression of harmony in Man Woman

    expression....This Dance has it all

  • spacekangaroo i spcly thanks t you dear

your mind and sugesstion who will here .

i asked the ASSAMESE producers to produce and promote this to rest of INDIA via BOLLYWOOD.

  • VERY NICE...!!

  • whats the name of this movie?

  • I LIKE BIHU DANCE...

  • It's Jon Torali & not Jun Turali.

  • My typing has been failing me today, Bihu (not Juhu sorry) and Bihu Tolis.

  • I still miss Juhu songs and Juhu Tolis.

  • Awesome, mindblowing... Bihu is amazing...

  • I wish Bollywood would incorporate Assamese-inspired music and dance like this into their movies. They're always imitating America and Hollywood, but seem to ignore all the fascinating cultures within India.

  • @spacekangaroo bollywood is so foreign ...

  • very nice song i like it

  • Its good...but the locale could have been great..c'mon Mr Director,,Assam is not so dry and colourless...the saving grace of this video are Jatin Bora and Gayatri (Mahanta ???)...and as someone mentioned..traditional dancers do not wear the costumes shown here..makes me nostalgic and want to watch the Bihu of a bygone era

  • whos the actor ad actress hgere?

  • mor moromer bihu songs .... bhal lagiche ....natun songs load kori jonaba .... moi aachu .... Bijit saha .... orkut

  • You all may go gaga about these Bihus,I disagree.

They're highly choreographed and no spontaneity. Girls are over decked up. Boys in the silk tailored dresses belong to some theatre! Backdrops looks dry.The cameraman has no sense of beauty,or he just could not take the group any further than ones backyard! The lyrics are bland, no grassroot origin. Get real and revive the dying Bihu and don't let it be a thing confined to an item of cultural functions.

  • whos the actress here?

  • GrTTTTTTT , thanks for posting this Bihu.

  • One of the finest bihu dance!! Few steps but well performed by each of the dancers. Gayatri's expressions are just superb. Lyric reminds me the fun we used to have in our childhood singing this kind of teasing songs!!!

  • I felt if I were there to see live. How beautiful it is. Thank you so much for keeping in tube. Pradip from UK.

  • Thanks to all of you...

  • Love it - thanks to Tezpuria (I am originally from Tezpur and left assam long ago) and YouTube.

It's simply beautiful - and I am so proud to show the video to my daugthers.

  • Excelent choreography, excelent music and nicely maneuvered voice control. For the first time I have seen dhool being so proffesionaly incorporated in asomia music. The show is very lively, presentable and entertaining. Zura-naam is so sweet. All the artistes have done a fantastic job. Gayatri is superb. Thanks to the producer director and a very special thanks to tezpuria for posting it for us. Plz keep up with more of its kind.

  • Yep, nice to find some vids showcasing Bihu from Assam... makes me want to go back there again..

But these "VCD Bihu Musicals" have killed the Assamese Movie Industry...

Proof is the male lead (dont remember his name) in this vid.. who used to be a popular actor in Assamese Movies.. now making his appearence in VCD Bihu Musicals..

  • Got his name Jatin Bora... (mentioned along with this clip)

  • so nice to see some bihu on you-tube. keep them coming. tx
