See carlsperr message below. He says that Petula has a throat infection that she has been unable to shed for over a year! I heard Petula at age 70 in New Zealand and she was in excellent form. This performance is a different story, and I would think a good rest of the voice is about the only remaining option.

I think the cell phone quality doesn't do this any justice. At a concert last year, I closed my eyes during a song and the song sounded just as it did in the '60s. Not all of the songs - but many of them were just like they used to be.

Singers do what they love regardless of age...Sinatra did it, and we know their voices aren't going to be like it was in the 60's ( common sense ), but good on Petula for still entertaining us. By the way, it was a doctor who stuffed up an operation on Julie Andrews throat....I would hate to have that doctors conscious.....if he's got one.
