  • Did you take an arrow in the knee?

  • @NERDFLoWXX: An arrow through the knees... You have a wild imagination my friend, haha.

  • "...and that's why i look like a gladiator"

  • Wow, your a pro at pool transfers. I think I know what to do after watching you now. In my first pool experience not too long ago, it was my toes that got scraped up on the bottom, although it was pretty shallow

  • To eyesofpegasus, I couldn't agree more. I did that intially without thinking about pressure sore prevention which was a mistake. Nowadays, I always put a pillow over the cement so I don't sit directly on a hard surface. It's a very good point you made. Thank you.

  • man this is pretty crucial move as it could result in a pressure sore in your back...you sit on a hard ground and its demages might outweigh its enjoy...as a very similar paraplegic i would not do same moves although i can...

  • Hopefully ill learn how to do this.

  • you are one strong tenacious dude. my hats off. im a paraplegic too t3. but i can only swim backstroke..thanks for the inspiration.

  • How strong is this guy!

  • thats great arm strength

  • THats cool, I dive the same way from chair, just getting out isn't as easy but I manage... Cool Video

  • I admire anyone like this. I could not live without my legs. I love to do parkour, and snowboard, and play paintball and drum. I might kill myself if I couldn't do those.

    I admire you soo much.

  • @NickyDark17 I was the same way before my accident, I was a big time snowboarder on the hill some 90 days a year, and then, shit happened. You wouldn't kill yourself. You'd be amazed at what you can do when you don't have a choice. You'd still ski in a monoski as I do, you'd play tennis, you'd race handcycles etc... You'd find new ways to have fun.

  • @NickyDark17 Guess what? im a paraplegic, and i play drums can't use my bass pedals but i still play the top half

  • @gatortail20 Double bass FTW. ;D

  • @NickyDark17 single bass/w double pedals

  • @gatortail20 Yeah, that's what I meant. :P

  • your videos are very inspiring and helpful! I am not a paraplegic but I found it very informative and interesting to watch your tutorials. Great tips and great attitude! Hope all is well! Thanks!

  • BTW, swimming and exercising for miles in the middle of the street is awesome for the head:)) To many yrs behind me to do the knee pads LOL. I sometimes look like a brillo pad

  • Great job. YOUTH! I am 27 yrs now para. Did this stuff yrs ago, but now using pool lift. Got hit with wave in ocean in 97' that made for disc repair. That stopped the crazy stuff LOL. Current pool is 24" to water edge and 6" high, so got to miss the cement. One butt bruise and you stop and say "oh????" Great job and good luck on the tan!

  • @godknewilovedpizza True. One butt bruise and you stop experimenting. I did this video right after my accident and wasn't thinking much about pressure sore prevention then. Now I am. :-). Consequently, I use a pillow under my butt always and would never sit directly on the cement. Very good point you made.

  • VAZZUP !!! I'M BRUNO !!! AHAHAHAHA!!!

  • Very impressive! Very encouraging to people in a similar situation. I admire your guts and perseverance.

  • I pray I one day reach the level of independence that you have eddy

  • You will, you will.

  • god bless you! :)

  • thanks.

  • I don't know how I happened to see your video but I am intriged by you. What's up?

  • Hey, not much is up, same old same old, haha.

  • wow thats an mazing pool! lol so how do you tred water i cant i try so hard lol i wear a life jacket and that is unconfey! got tips? im the girl who asked you to essage me by the way. They are not sure what level injury i am but the say im a parapoligic from chest down.

  • It really helps if you keep a lung full of air. When i swim its actualy hard for me to go under for any period of time. If you just lay back an keep air in your lungs your legs will float up an you'll just float. good luck

  • my boyf is a t5 he says he cant use his abs at all. so can he do this or no"?

  • He can totally do it. I can't use my abs either, you don't need them for this. But as I said in the video, it's easier to get out from the corner of the pool.

  • Good tips! Especially about using the kneepads. Learned some things from your getting dressed and transfer to shower clips - thanks for the motivation!

  • I'm glad you found the videos useful.

  • Some really good tips! Especially about the knee pads, Thanks for the motivation.

  • hola, soy de Guatemala te felicito y sigue adelante, mi hijo de 16 años paraplejico se animo mucho con tu video, que Dios te bendiga

  • Mucho gracias.

  • I find it way easier to get in and out using the corner of the pool - sit in the corner - go in forwards - get out backwards no twisting.

  • Very good point. Using the corner is much easier indeed. I just wish I had thought of it. But since I didn't, I had to make it work though the side. I now use the corner as well.

  • respect!

  • Hell of a good job man, Bravo!

  • Thanks much.

  • hy do you move youre legas at all,

my legs wont so i just need to see if i can use this technique im t12

  • No, I cannot move my legs at all. I'm a higher injury than you, so with a little practice I'm confident that you will be able to use this technique, Try getting out from the corner of the pool as it is much easier because your arms are on your sides and not in front of you. Best of luck, keep me posted.

  • right on man im t-7 also i like the workout video too, keep it up your giving me some things to try out when i see ur videos
