@AnnaramaTV you can buy a retainer for it. just look up tragus retainers. most of them just have a jewel that can be removed and you just see a hole pretty much

what did you do to heal the cartilage piercings??

I got a double helix on like..july 29th and i still get the crusties..i use to do the sea salt soak but that caused more problems cuz i wasnt getting it DEEP. so i do an alcohal cleaning twice a week ( i know its bad, but it needs to be bacteria clean)

whats your secrets?

@Calpico852 I got crusties for a while. i used to clean it daily with sea salt, but the one that comes in a can so that it shoots a stream, tht usually got it off quickly. dont move the jewelry around either cuz ur just putting the bacteria from the outside into the piercing which is probably making it take longer to heal. always wash ur hands n try not to sleep on it, bump it, or touch it. sometimes loosening the backing works too. hope tht helps!

@jbos1589 oh yeah iknow exactly what u mean - its such a buzz and a rush gettin something new pierced (and the same with tattoos!) So the nipple wasnt too bad pain wise then?? how long have you had them btw, and what was the healing like?

@lindsaybabe11 I would say the nipple isnt as bad as people make it out to be. healing is worse than the piercing. i personally have long hair and for the first few days it got stuck and i gave it a good pull. ive had them almost three years now. it actually never completely heals. your body tries to regrow the cells in the piercing and you get a slightly smelly white substance you would have to clean out as often as needed. but still very nice to have.
