Love my torch. Have been using it for 3 years without a problem, but it is not from Harbor Freight.

I am using fine silver wire not solder wire, and I don't use any flux. There is little oxidation because it is fine silver instead of sterling.

Do you use some kind of borax of flux to avoid oxidation while melting the silver?
