Great video, but when you gave the cup example, you specifically said how would you "describe " the cup, which would lead most people, regardless of being S or N, to, basically describe it...

@slytherinspy1960 I love being an INTP. Some of my favorite people - past and present - are INTPs. Charles Darwin, Richard Dawkins, Albert Einstein, Blaise Pascal, Socrates, Brian Griffin from Family Guy... to name but a few.

I'm a little confused with the cup part. Because I described what the cup looked like and I also talked about how I kept imagining there being hot chocolate in it or coffee...so am I S or N?

I've taken the test on three separate occassions. Once in college, once when I began working at the cancer center and most recently with friends for fun. I can only assume that the results of each test were calculated incorrectly for my personality type fell equally across the board in each category. ISFJ, based solely on this video, is what I feel best describes my personality, but on paper I am an EISNTFJP.

@Onlymanolos That's not too uncommon and doesn't mean your results were calculated incorrectly. Some people just aren't easy to type from the test alone. This probably means your preferences are more moderate or flexible. You should still be able to find the type that suits you best, though. Check out our channel here--we just posted a video on ISFJ and you can see if it fits you!

am not sure, but maybe am EFTJ...how can I be certain...I think a sometimes judging but sometimes perceiving and the others too...how can I know for sure?

@Lintanation Do you mean ESTJ? If so, try going to the link given in the video and reading the ESTJ profile. If it sounds a lot like you, then you've probably found your type!

@skyhighvids For the purposes of this system, yes! Of course there is a lot of variation within types, too, and this is not to say that every ENFP is a clone of every other ENFP, etc. But most people who have identified their personality type say that the description is scarily accurate!

@skyhighvids If you meet someone of your same type, usually you will feel like you can connect with them easily. You might have similar interests and perspectives on life. If you have friends that just seem to "get" you without trying, they probably have similar personality types.

Most people have friends of lots of different types, though. And some people don't like hanging out with other people of the same type at all. Being around someone who is too much like you can be annoying!
