I have one straight forward question..... This guy said that if you are a person with a very strong immune system and you have sex with someone(with the opposite sex) who is infected with AIDS you get AIDS but AIDS disappears after a few weeks.... This explains why scientists found that babies that are born to mothers with HIV have no trace of the virus. @simwatts It's the same as cancer treatment. I've heard of people living many many years after getting diagnosed (in fact lung cancer can be in your body for decades before it's detected in cancer screening) But sometimes the treatments can make people die within months (immune system just fried from it, etc.) It must suck to be an Oncologist today, knowing that their tools are so limited when it comes to treating people without making them more sick than they already are.

It's not quite gone yet because Afghanistan and a country in Africa (I don't recall which, maybe Ethiopia) discontinued the use of polio vaccine because polio was no longer present in their countries. Shortly after vaccine use was discontinued, the virus came back. Additionally, there is a strain of polio in northern India that seems to be able to evade the immunity induced by our current vaccines. No doubt sanitation would help tho.
@fuzzymike2 obviously having clean water and better sanitation would help things along, but the polio vaccine has been extremely effective the past 50 or so years its been used. It has very nearly erradicated polio from the planet but for some relatively isolated outbreaks in india, afghanistan, and i believe ethiopia. What really needs to be done is that the Salk vaccine should be used now rather than the Sabin vaccine.
I know a former heroin addicts who had this for 25 years. The doctor treating treating them actually reckons the heroine kept them alive, and the drugs did more harm. They were still taking heroine from 85 till 2008 and they passed 2010. The doc said it was unusual for people to survive 25 years so it could probably be the heroine use.

He said that if you have a strong immune system you may be able to (but are not guaranteed to) fight off initial infection with HIV. You can not reverse HIV infection with nutrition. As I've mentioned in a previous comment on this page, HIV integrates into its host cells. You can't get rid of it (yet).
The question was ... "If you have a good immune system, then your body can actually get rid of HIV?" The answer was, quote "YES".
at 3:00 it was restated with an "I would think so" with reference to building up a poor African's immune system. This is not live, this is 'get rid of hiv'.
@roewalker I think he misspoke. It's no secret that having a good immune system can increase your chances of fighting off an infection before it establishes itself. We're exposed to millions of viruses every day but don't get sick (other viruses are particularly evasive, and we do get sick for a while). However, you can not "get rid" of HIV once it has established itself as a chronic infection in your body, just by improving your nutrient intake. The virus is already integrated in your cells.

By the way, have you even read Montagnier's research involving fermented papaya juice? I'm guessing you haven't, because if you had then you'd know that those studies don't involved HIV at all.

I read an article many years ago...this doctor said many of his patients that had HIV also had STD's. In other words the STD's had first weakened their immune systems. All assays are controlled by running these samples through the same procedure. High protein can interfere with assays and decrease sepcificity. Once diluted out, the accuracy and specificity becomes acceptable as evidenced by the control samples.

Dr. Montaigner doesn't say that AIDS can be reversed. He says that with a healthy immune system, HIV should/can be naturally eliminated by the body--same way as 90 percent of those exposed to hepatitis B "shed" the virus. The rest? 10 percent in the case of Hep B become chronic carriers, able to transmit the virus and vulnerable to liver cancer. Who knows what actual percent age of those exposed to HIV don't shed the virus? Prevention is still key. Avoid high-risk sex/drug use with strangers

From the beginning of the discovery of a harmful disease scientists should begin the process of searching, developing, and testing potential cures. Too much money is spent and funded for short-term releif of symptoms rather then for the absolute annihilation or neutralization of a disease or virus. This is done to maximize profits and therefore is not in the best interest of the patient.

Please check your facts! HIV has indeed been isolated. In fact, it was isolated long before this debate began. I was in San Francisco from 1978 to 1991 and worked for the San Francisco Health Department in conjunction with the CDC. Both isolated the virus though it was NOT widely publicized.

Why are people saying Canada does not test for CD4 counts? that's a lie. i'm hiv+ and my doctors have checked my CD4 cells from the start. however i don't use hiv meds, don't need to. everything about nutrition is true. hiv is a controllable passenger retro-v that is harmless on its own. adding poor Lifestyle is what degrades an immune system, then + meds =liver failure =... FACT: anti-virals were created in the 70s as a new chemo treatment but shelved because it killed ALL the test patents.

@loagun What they are saying is than Canada and many more countries don't go by USA guidelines regarding CD4 and VL, when to start medicine or diagnose someone with full blown AIDS. Those numbers are worthless, but it works great for pharmaceutical companies in USA. Also, that is a reason why Canada doesn't have an epidemic of AIDS. In Canada, more people die in car accidents per day, then from AIDS in one year. Thanks for sharing your info.

Look up Ozone IV treatments , peroxide IV treatments and hyperbaric chamber treatments . All 3 have caused a reversal in people's HIV status . Of course the Western Blot is absolute garbage , but these treatments have also raised low T-cell counts to normal .

I do realize who this person is but with the recent release of an unnamed unpublished article promoting the quantum mechanism of DNA i am starting to believe that his age is starting to catch up to his mental state.
He says that if you have a good immune system you can "get rid of HIV", some thing very wrong with this.
Just remember all the famous celebrities of the western world who have contracted HIV, developed AIDS and then died from some opportunistic pathogen.

@simwatts It's the same as cancer treatment. I've heard of people living many many years after getting diagnosed (in fact lung cancer can be in your body for decades before it's detected in cancer screening) But sometimes the treatments can make people die within months (immune system just fried from it, etc.) It must suck to be an Oncologist today, knowing that their tools are so limited when it comes to treating people without making them more sick than they already are.

No two "hiv"s are alike and yet the tests use the exact sam proteins as when Gallo first patented the test based on the virus h did NOT actually fnd in anyone. That's why to this day tose tests have no means of independent verification i.e. there is no reference standard

25 years ago when I was in Rotary I made myself unpopular by suggesting Polio 2000 would be unsuccessful eliminating Polio through vaccination. Rather we should focus on clean water, better sanitation, and better nutrition. Nothing changes!

@fuzzymike2 Polio is nearly eradicated thanks to the vaccine. It's not quite gone yet because Afghanistan and a country in Africa (I don't recall which, maybe Ethiopia) discontinued the use of polio vaccine because polio was no longer present in their countries. Shortly after vaccine use was discontinued, the virus came back. Additionally, there is a strain of polio in northern India that seems to be able to evade the immunity induced by our current vaccines. No doubt sanitation would help tho.

@fuzzymike2 obviously having clean water and better sanitation would help things along, but the polio vaccine has been extremely effective the past 50 or so years its been used. It has very nearly erradicated polio from the planet but for some relatively isolated outbreaks in india, afghanistan, and i believe ethiopia. What really needs to be done is that the Salk vaccine should be used now rather than the Sabin vaccine.

I know a former heroin addicts who had this for 25 years. The doctor treating treating them actually reckons the heroine kept them alive, and the drugs did more harm. They were still taking heroine from 85 till 2008 and they passed 2010. The doc said it was unusual for people to survive 25 years so it could probably be the heroine use.

@TheHealthRanger What you said in the description box is quite deceptive. You say, "AIDS can be reversed [according to Dr. Luc Montagnier]". Dr. Montagnier said no such thing. He said that if you have a strong immune system you may be able to (but are not guaranteed to) fight off initial infection with HIV. You can not reverse HIV infection with nutrition. As I've mentioned in a previous comment on this page, HIV integrates into its host cells. You can't get rid of it (yet).

@roewalker I think he misspoke. It's no secret that having a good immune system can increase your chances of fighting off an infection before it establishes itself. We're exposed to millions of viruses every day but don't get sick (other viruses are particularly evasive, and we do get sick for a while). However, you can not "get rid" of HIV once it has established itself as a chronic infection in your body, just by improving your nutrient intake. The virus is already integrated in your cells.

If he is claiming that a chronic HIV infection can be cured by improving one's nutrition, then he is simply wrong. Nutrition alone will not splice the HIV genome from your CD4 Helper T and hematopoietic stem cell genomes. It simply won't.
By the way, have you even read Montagnier's research involving fermented papaya juice? I'm guessing you haven't, because if you had then you'd know that those studies don't involved HIV at all.
