  • @nugg69

Ich stimme dir zu. Es is die beste, schonste Sprache. Aus ein Amerikana der angefangen habe Deutsch zu lernen! Sag mal wenn es richtig Grammatik ist bitte.

  • @hparas1 hi du meinst bestimmt: ich bin ein amerikaner der angefangen hat deutsch zu lernen! sag mal wenn es grammatikalisch richtig ist bitte! ODER sag mal ob die grammatik richtig ist bitte...

  • Seig Heil Means "Hey how ya doing?"

  • You are obviously not a native speaker of German. You don't pronounce the words correctly at all. You should leave the teaching of such an amazing language to a real native speaker! Thanks

  • And well, to the history: In ancient times (80 years ago... :P ), the characters, german was written with, were slightly different. And some words you spelled with SZ, that was the normal spelling then. and this S and Z were kinda glued together with time, and a new character developed, which then again changed it's form slightly to the ß of today, so believe me or not, the ß actually looks similar to an S followed by a Z (at least then it did).

    Greetings from Austria

  • hey!

sorry, but your accent is kinda strong. for example, it's not 'wie heißt "do" ', it's more like 'wie heißt "doo" '.

and by the way,let me explain how we come to have the ß in our alphabet. It is NOT actually the double SS sound,it's only similar: Only the double SS has a strong hissing sound, the ß is actually more like a normal S. The rule is: when the vowel before is said long, it is the ß, if it is short,it is SS. well some are only one S anyway.Examples: S in 'hissing' = SS, 'please' = ß!

  • add me on facebook (:

  • ...resoponses for how you would normally carry on a usual conversation. Sorry again, like I've said, you took time to try and help people, but honestly, don't try to come off like you know what you are talking about cause you don't and I doubt you are really german/have any clue about it. And I am mostly german and I also speak the language. So please just find another topic for your videos. I don't want people to get the incorrect information about how to speak German and then look like idots.

  • Okay, I really truly don't mean to be a hater or sound rude or post a bad comment to your video cause I respect that you took time out of your life to post this but I have some feedback. First off, I know you have put in the description box that your camera quality was bad and it was. There was buzzing in the background, and your words were fuzzy as well as the picture. As far as the actually "lesson" you didn't pronounce your words correctly at all, nor did you give some of the correct...

  • Wie heißt du? Omg, the correct translation is ; Wie ist dein Name? <-

  • @Tiswone

no, actually it's not. "Wie ist dein name?" and "Wie heißt du?" has the same meaning. tough especially the younger people say "Wie heißt du" more often :D

  • So... an Eszett (ß) is a deformed b? And the a's in German are pronounced like "ah."

Ich bin ein Amerikaner ftw :)

  • ok video but you dont pronaunce it right. i know that, because:

    I am a german

    Ich bin ein Deutscher

  • schone titten

  • WTF?

    German isnt a aggressive language!

    Dont talk trash pls!

  • wtf?!

i'm german and i can say this is not spoken like a german would do...

let germans do the german lessons!

  • Hier, ich bin Deutscher, der Netteste von allen,Wirklich!

  • @HipHopNobby was labasch duuuu ! Xd

  • I think it is a good exercise for you for learning German:

Ich an deiner Stelle würde Power Point nutzen und nicht Zettel. Das laute Summen im Hintergrund könntest du durch ein Headset oder ein Mikrofon beseitigen. Viel Erfolg weiterhin und viel Spaß beim lernen unserer Sprache.

  • Schöne brüste

  • Good video. ;)

  • its actually english lol

  • @PussiesGlorifyMe English is the most spoken language in Europe, Im pretty sure.

  • 1. Buy good mic.

    2. Buy BETTER mic.

    3. learn german

    4. THEN teach german !!

  • "Hi" is fine in German too, although it's more colloquial and mainly used among young people.

  • You´re good :) I´m from Germany and if you would talk to me I would 100% understand you :) well done ♥

  • @officialBelieberTV

Man merkt, dass du Deutscher bist. Es heißt nicht "if you would walk", sondern "if you walked". Und dass ich Deutscher bin, merkt man auch, denn ich bin ein Klugscheißer. :-P

  • BEAUTIFUL woman

  • the hard part about german isnt saying the words .. its the way you sound when you say them .. its almost like japanese if you speak with a higher or lower tone it can come off as formal or aggressive!

  • I think it's pretty good!! Who taught you in speaking german??

  • German is a phonetic language, so once you get the basic pronunciations saying words you don't know becomes much easier. It's the grammar that's difficult. Especially cases. 'The' and 'a' (as that that's 'a' car) is one of the hardest things to learn in German once you get to cases.

  • Ich liebe dich

  • You = Incorrect pronounce-er of like EVERYTHING! Mah! I wanna push you. :P

  • Not to be a troller but your either saying it as a northern German speaker would say that or it's just plain wrong

For instance your saying hallo, like hallu when actually it should be pronounced allo as though there was no h it's silent.

    Was machst du gern?!?!

    ( not translation)

    Make bad tutorials??

  • "Heirate mich", with just one "r". It's pronounced [hajrate]

  • did you record this with a crayon?

  • Du kommst aus deutschland oder sie habt gelernt auf schule?

  • Thank you; I like your style of teaching. God Bless you lots.

  • how to say ''marry me'' ?

  • @rajaijaz007

    "Heirrate mich" --- "marry me"

  • @rajaijaz007 in german u say "heirate mich " or will you merry me - wilst du mich heiraten?"

  • @BlubberBrauseMond You'd say Heirate mich.

  • WTF I want to learn this so bad

  • @sj176 you wanna learn german?

  • @SuicideBreath yes but it seems so confusing

  • @sj176 it is difficult. Watch more videos like this to learn the pronunciation. I also can recommend @messengerangel to you. She's american and has a awesome german pronouncication. If you try hard enough you will learn it. (: I'm about to learn russian but it's really hard too..

  • lol ich hesse joanie, means I hate joanie (really)

  • @creativeprojects720

Nein! "Ich hasse Joanie" = I hate joanie. "Hesse" (with a capital "H") = Hess (a German region, distric or people from there). There is no verb "hesse" in German, believe me.

    with kind regards

  • @196Stefan2 hasse, same thing, and it also needs the two dots above the "a" but my keyboard does not have that.

  • @creativeprojects720 kein das ist richtig nicht hate ist hasse

  • Hallo gut video. Ich Sprechen Kliener Deustch.

  • Comment removed

  • @TemunaQ Kliener means little

  • Comment removed

  • @PazouwhProductions Ich Sprechen Kliener Deustch---you mean "ich spreche ein klienes bischen deutch"

  • mach mal n video wo man deine titen ein bisschen mehr sieht

    biiiitttteeeee :D

  • Hahaha you over pronounce the words XD

  • tits

  • Hi,

"ß" steht für "ss", das ist korrekt. Man setzt es nach doppelten Vokalen und nach Vokalen, die lang gesprochen werden.

    Also zum Beispiel:

    heiß (hot)

    Fuß (foot)

  • haha Americans have in any language this funny accent where they pronounce vowels very strong

  • @0999001 that is correct, i know, i've been there

  • @0999001 thats not true. I am living here for 20 years and its just the misconception that you have to pronounce it like hitler ( who wasnt even german )... For example japanese people see german as a mystic language, and the for germans english sounds like mumbling since everything is pronounced with the front mouth

  • @0999001 fine, so i dont have to learn any other language... ^^ cu in hell... :D

  • Why the hell would anyone want to learn German?

  • @moinsimion if u don't want to learn german so why r u watching this???

  • @Yasminsbai Just wanted to know what's so nice about the German language. I mean, what does Germany have? Many Germans are not open minded enough, way too polite and ignorant of other peoples cultures. I should know, I am one of em myself^^. The tutorial is really good thoug with the Hallo, try to pronounce the o not as a u but as an o.

  • @moinsimion not all germans r like that!!! if u dont like ur country so immigrate to an other one!

  • @Yasminsbai Not all of us are, but Germans in general are. You can still make good friend with Germans, but still, f.e. Canadians are way more open-minded and, yeah, open to new things in general.

I'd love to immigrate to another one, but where should I go? My home is still a small town in the south west of Germany, i love my friends and family. I'll study somewhere else though.

  • @moinsimion It's funny that you complain about ignorance, because your statement is, in fact, ignorant.

Wie man in den Wald hinein ruft...

  • @Chaeromanie I was just joking around there. I know that that was ignorant.

    ...so schallt es heraus.

  • @moinsimion Well, if that's the case, I have said nothing and we'll forget about it.

    Trenne nie st...

  • @0999001 yeah because 99% of the non-native german speakers have this "Hitler" accent with the BIG RRRRR!

But in fact we're not speaking like that here in Germany.

  • @0999001

bullshit!!!!! who told you that?? german isnt a agressive language!!! -_-

  • @landsitz OGFurious told him!

  • @MacDonaldSeumas

OGFurious is cool and his videos are all funny nobody should take his videos serious! ....

  • @landsitz I know man... The whole point of my joke

  • @MacDonaldSeumas

I know but i think there are still some people believing everything ;)

  • @landsitz /watch?v=qyklRTVe37s&feature=relmfu kinda funny :P

  • @landsitz yeah right, only people can be aggressive. See two world wars and a holocaust. Hey, but they were Germans.

    Oops.

  • @balengofoo

Hitler was not german ;) he manipulates the germans and infects them withs his idiot stupid idea of race and shit....

  • @0999001 Don't you watch Simpsons? "No one who speaks german could be an evil man!" Haha;D

  • @0999001 omg not at all dumbass

  • @0999001 you should learn german then, that's what you get for stealing our cars :)

  • say it wit an acsent

  • sorry, you are too sexy, bad for my eyes, sorry, be more sweet than this okay, please, even I liked you, dangerous for you being like this, sorry from me, you are beautiful, don't make it broken :)

  • that's my bitch

  • Ich isn't pronouced like "ish" it has a gagging sound to it lol

  • ich liebie dich is all i know =/

  • She is good-looking, i like her

  • @MsSuka88 fail

  • german girls allways have nice titts

  • @ntrnate shes not but

  • Hey! Das machst du sehr gutQ ;D Wie hast du es so gut gelernt?

  • im confused, i thought when you say my name is____ you say "Ich BEIN _____" or somthing like that

  • @Snapboy7764

    I am = ich bin

    Bein = leg

  • @HesseJamez olol

  • "Woher kommst du?" was "wherefrom come you" in literal translation. Though it sounds stupid, a literal translation shows how similar english and german are.

There are thousands of common words also like :

arm, orange, finger, bank, ring, hand, glas(s), gras(s), fis(c)h, monitor, motor, etc.

  • Ich does not sound "eesh" - try to improve the "ch" noise by whispering a "K".

  • @HesseJamez Saying it like "ish" is actually dialect. Southern Germany in particular. That said she does have a pretty strong American accent when speaking German.

  • i need a german girlfriend if ever im going trhere,.

  • really fantastic channel. Did you that English and German can be so similar? check out my 5th lesson to find out. thxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • man kann auch auf deutsch hi zur begrüßung sagen ^^ falls du fragen hast ich kann dir auch alles auf englisch erklären

  • Es lebe Deutschland. greetings from Canada.

  • Ich kann besser Detsch als dir!!

  • some of my friends told me to use "wie heissen Sie?" instead of "wie heisst du?". does that really affect?

  • @dieroten5 (someone might have answered this already but here I go)

To use Sie is more polite than using du

  • @dieroten5

German has 2 forms of accusation, "Sie" is the polite form and works like the plural in 3rd person.

  • Ich habe versucht, einen amerikanischer Freund Deutsch lernen helfen, und Ihre Videos half ihm eine Menge.Gute Arbeit auf die Lehren.

  • Hi this is siva. i am from india. now working in Dubai.. i like Germany..i would like to learn german language...can you help me for learn german....

  • lol !! its not "issh"

    it's pronounced "ieh".. just ich!!

  • The eszet is not a replacement for ALL double ss sounds. Just some. The rules are very strict. And it's HAllo. Not. Hullo. Du kannst doch besser sein...

  • Nicht schlecht aber an deiner Aussprache könntest du noch ein bisschen arbeiten :)

  • Oh, tut mir leid. Meine letzte Bemerkung war eher unhöflich und ich irgendwie vergessen Sie sprachen Deutsch. lol einfach ignorieren meinem letzten Kommentar, ich war falsch.

  • .......She doesn't know why it makes a "double ss" sound and she's teaching german? Dieses Mädchen ist ein paar Karten weniger als eine volle Deck. =)

  • @Ahmannaeatchoo

Dieses Mädchen ist ein paar Karten weniger als eine volle Deck. =) *lol*

You wrote "this girl is a few spades less than a full deck"....better not use google translator.

At least in german it doesn't make any sense.

  • Kann ich hast deine EMAIL?? BITTE

  • ???I dropping german class >.,.< let's just stick with english x]

  • Süß :DD wie du sprichst. :') wie du das 'du' aussprichst. Very nice :) einige Aussprachefehler, aber im großen und ganzen well done :)

  • @123itbemii

You can simply say your name after someone asked you "wie heißt du?" (Whats' your name?)

With saying "Ich heiße [name]" (Yes, "Ich heißE", not "ich heißt") it's more polite.

Btw: You can also say "Hi" exept of "Hallo" to Germans, but to older people it would be a little rude.

    Greetings,

    a German :)

  • Hi, Thanks for the video.

I'm taking a German class but my teacher is no help what so ever.

When someone askes your name "Wie heißt du?"

Do you have to say "Ich heißt (name)"

Or can you simply just say your name without the "Ich heißt" ?

    Please respond.

  • @123itbemii Yes, you can simply say your name. This is merely the full answer...just as you may respond "My name is ___" to the question "What is your name?" in English. In this case, you are providing a full response, but you can also choose to simply state your name. :)

  • @allibeanie Thank you so much(:

  • du bist ja süüß ^^ aber du kannst gut deutsch

  • Ich schließe mich der Meinung von Andrer241 an. Falls du fragen ahst frag einen von uns, wir sind schließlich Deutsche ;D ... aber sonst machst du Das ganz gut!

  • Very good....Gut....kiss cat....

  • ja!
