Back to topic: Doesdskvad is probably one of the best "true" black metal albums ever recorded... it manages to be 100% black metal while still being interesting and having a lot of variation.

I got into black metal almost ten years ago and it's one of the most creative and "patternless" music genre of all times - and the atmosphere is the most important !

I just hate it how people DON'T WANT to listen to the music they WOULD like - because of their religion, image or political position.

.. and of course the mysticism is the only way to be connected to your god - if you have one. Spreading the religion around ruins the cultures and stokes war.

i find it ironic that people who comment on christianity for being "for the weak minded", as something that people used as a weapon of fear to keep people under control, as violent and weckless in the past,

@runecarver u gotta think about the geography of this shit tho, most black metal bands only talk about anti christian stuff because of the history of christian invasions in scandinavia and shit, there was basically a backlash against it because of its oppressive history on the people. that was the intent of most of the originators of the scene, and most bands that have come afterward simply continued it as a theme to this type of music. Taake is the fuckin sickest btw

@Swepn00b There's some truth in what you say. Also, since most Muslims aren't white, they can play the race card whenever someone criticizes the barbarism in their religion. Some non-Muslims will jump to their defense as well, saying that anyone who criticizes Islam is "Islamophobic." Political correctness is a huge and often overlooked problem.
