As a bellydancing fan for many years and student, I think I've practically seen it all; the hair tossing, the flamboyance, the theatre, but she takes it to precision and that takes TALENT and skill and not just jangling some coins...
I am upset every time I have to see this video. That is upsetting to me! And there is absolutely nothing you can do to convince me that this woman has won a real Egyptian belly dancing competition! And yes, she is entertaining, but in a different way, in a funny kind of a break dancing way!

Also..these little contests are a joke, and at this point of her life, Nagwa fouad lives of making her money watching these so called "belly dancers shake their booties in front of her face" and she just has to pick one you know... But if you are interested in learning and watching real belly dancing watch Randa Kamel, Soraya Zaied ( a non-egyptian who knows how to interpret songs and has a amazing stage presence) Suhair Zaki, Dina, Lucy etc... Learn some!

Queen of Raks Sharki?? this girl?? that's funny!. YOu know African American Girls can shake,I won't argue that, many people can shimmy fast, but to belly dance with class and to honestly portray an Egyptian dance is something completely different.

Having met Ahava, I'll tell you she's a very sweet, kinda shy girl.
I'm not fond of her dancing style, but that's because her movements are too small for my taste.

We actually just filmed Volume 2 a few days ago... these are just sneak previews. The whole DVD should be released in July.
