  • Only album I bought in the last five years

  • my shit my memories DAM!!!!!!

  • now this is real lyrics

  • AZ is part of the Golden Age...if you look at the dates below..you can see Hip Hop quality rose from 1973 up until 2002/3 ...the decline in quality and the media takeover began full fledge in 2003 up until present. This does not mean there is no good hip hop out there., it just means the media will push and promote materialism and bullshit before good hip hop. We have to search for it now on the underground or before they get famous.

  • AZ's flow is just WOW!

  • Why don't you gimme the world?

  • so this girl i like was just blazing with me and i put this on. she said to me "i like hip hop but this is sooo boring. can you put drake on?"... i said "put your coat on, you outta my house." bitch walked home in minus 5.

  • @rzathamesmer thata boy, like a g.

  • @rzathamesmer I get that shit all the time man

  • Gimme what you cant get back

  • mainstream fans dont understand our beef with the mcs now a days.cause they dont understand why and how hip hop originated. current hipPOP has lost its roots, and when something loses its roots it is understood that the new outcome of that "something" is fake and disrespectful. everyone, even wayne fans can understand that if spoken out to like this. music's roots were meant to please its listeners. new music might please some therefore my only beef is that theyre calling drake, etc "HIPHOP"

  • AZ still got the craziest consistent flow/lyricism I ever heard! next best would be Curren$y

  • @MerkhVision Im sorry but Spitta is nowhere near.

  • This is one of my fave tunes of all time man i aint arsed

  • fuck drake anytime

  • Simple. Intelligent and Beautfuil.. Kids listen and learn. 95 Live baby! all day !

  • such soul

  • the Nas and AZ combo iz one of the illest 1,2 punches ever

  • i BLAZE TO THIS EVERY FUCKIN CHANCE I GET...

  • @j3rr3ll101 you fucking read my mind lol

  • Pete Rock kicked mad flavor in this beat, i play this beat everyday such a classic.

  • SMOOOOOOOVE .... JUST RELAX AND LISTEN TO IT ... DRINKINK SOMETHING OR SMOKE A BLUNT MEANWHILE .....

  • Love the vibe on this record. And love early-mid-90's hiphop. This album and illmatic just destroy. Can anyone recommend me some more classics with that stoned chill melodic groove to it? Wanna learn more. Thanks. Peace!

  • classic

  • only 500K views? Shit, guess its only 500K real niggas in this entire world..

  • @EarvGotti IM WHITE BUT YEAH I AGREE

  • @EarvGotti "they say its less than five percent out of one hundred"

  • @EarvGotti I'm a nigga....awesome :D

  • Hardest album

  • if you read just these lyrics, you'll understand most underrated rapper of all-time

  • Filled with envy and hatred but my high helps me escape it.

  • Damn, I forgot about this song. I'm flashin' back the 90s right now. AZ is prolly the most underrated rapper in history...

  • i did a gimme yours part 2 on my page.check it out

  • Producers used to put their blood, sweat and tears into their beat that is why I have mad respect for producers such as: Pete Rock, Buckwild, Dj Premier,9th Wonder and J Dilla. They incorporated jazz into their beats as well as experiementing with real instrumentals like: Pianos, Harps, Xylophones, Violins, Trumpets, Horns. The same thing with oldschool rappers like Az & Nas, but too bad it didn't last. Hiphop has lost it's way, it's 2012 and it's seems like it's going to be just like 2011 WACK!

  • yo hands down P.Rock is one of the greatest producers of all time and space..... ....still I like that Eric sermon remix a little more.

  • lol AZ is still rapping I don't know what some of these other people are talking about.

  • "we keep it real yall."

  • Minnie Riperton- Here We Go is the sample by the way.

  • @niiiiiiiiiiickk yeah, true that is why we need to breed new rappers that have the old school flavor so REAL hiphop can continue.

  • AZ Nas and Pete Rock? unreal....

  • @YouKnowWho2112 Rather Unique lol

  • gotta love nas on the chorus to complement az!!! like always

  • @niiiiiiiiiiickk My sources tell me he's 39...

  • the visualiza

  • Az sounds sooo old sk00l man :)

  • Sing it Nas, sing it boy!!!!!

  • @Prem488 top 5 really

  • devine is right, az is godlike on the mic

  • this is true hip-hop,when lyrics werent all about pussy, money, and weed.rappers actually talked about life in the city, shxt theyve gone through.all we got now is a tatted up,scrawny faggot dating caillou ,and a dude with long pubes on his head with gay little zebra skinny jeans.bring all good rappers back, our music be dead tho

  • @UrbannKidd I like the recent kids coming up, the generation that came after Pac and biggie was the biggest downfall to hip-hop ever. All these years of bad hip hop will take years to revive again though. Fuck the techno beat bull shit and dead lyrics

  • @UrbannKidd lol that had me dying

  • @UrbannKidd ... hip hop aint dead, just the mainstream.

Blu - The Clean hand Produced by Pete Rock

    /watch?v=B4H9Qp5fDaw

  • @UrbannKidd I mean hes not a faggot if hes dating "cailou"

  • @UrbannKidd Its right Wiz Khalifa is a boring as fuck rapper and completely over rated. Personally Wayne i don't mind he's ok but each to there own.

  • talent.....

  • @Prem488

So true to hear something like.

they don't make artists like him anymore

  • @Prem488 in MY opinion i think hes the greatest to ever touch a microphone. NOT ONE Rapper can kop his style or anything AZ does hes tha james bond of this rap shit

  • ''life's a performance so players play with endurance'' AZ BEEN had my attention.

  • @yungstunnaandjetfly that's the line that made me realize just how much of genius AZ was...let's see if any1 knows what he's referring to

  • @vinoa whats he referring to? i would say rappers just rapping to stay in the game but this was released in 95 when rap wasnt underground.

  • @SL4VE0WNER1904619 yeah but it's from a famous soliloquy in Macbeth. "Tomorrow and tomorrow..."

  • Nas and Az need to collab and make a new album..that's all a Hip Hop head needs now a days in todays rap..

  • Pete Rock on beat + Nas & AZ on mic = dopness

  • @yaris1972 AZ (ripping the mic) + Nas(singing) = this song witch = eargasm

    :)

  • Yep, that's some good shit, Nas and AZ rockin' the beat like nobody

  • can we get a nas and az album produced by large pro and premo?

  • THis song is sooo fucking ILLLL i don't know how else to describe it!

  • I THINK AZ IS WAY BETTER THEN NAS

  • @MrCOROZAL dont talk shit man

  • I think Nas and AZ should've carried the Firm together as their group.

  • Ahhh, that ol '95 feel!! Sooothin compared to ths poison of today!!

  • whyyy don't you give worlddddd

  • This is that leader, player , pimp, Uncle Sam's theme lol

  • @Prem488 Nas and Az are the best rappers!! best duo ever also raekwon and nas are a mad DUO!

  • @cozunited94 yo I agree that they are a very, very great duo but have you ever listened to Mos def & Talib kweli? their Black star album is soooooooooo relaxing :) but biggie & pac also were a great duo, too bad they started beefing, just as 50 and Game they made some great songs. If you ask me about those beefs, I think it's all about the money. they become more famous because they're beefing and will probably sell more records. sad world..

  • @cozunited94 Both are the best every!!!

  • was 10 years old in Grade 5 when this was out.........holi shit the memories........time flies

  • @Prem488 Agreed. Nas and AZ are my 2 biggest influences in hip-hop. They're so equal but in slightly different but noticeable ways, but you can tell in every song they always try to go harder than each other and you can tell when AZ beats Nas in songs. They're both so good because of each other I think, just Nas had a more magnetizing persona around him which is why Nas got the credit he deserved, but AZ deserves the same exact amount. These 2 are the best ever together... but not the Firm. No.

  • This is a classic

  • Gotta blow the smoke in the air to this one. Love from south Jerz!

  • @DBlockn05 cmon brobro im white and im not like that...

  • @lucha123 when a white person says the n-word to black people then they totally freak out but black people themselves are also racists and they get away with it more often, it's retarded

  • watch?v=ds-Z1IRm7So&feature=channel_video_title

my mic geronimo remix the natural like in 95 peace from france homies

  • What if AZ made a hugh comeback & does a diss track talking a whole bunch of Shit about Lil Wayne, Young Money, & what Hip-Hop is like Today?

  • @MrTJ151 then i would regain faith in hip hop

  • @MrTJ151 check out Hopsin!

  • @MrTJ151 Hopsin did it lol

  • @MrTJ151 best day ever

  • @MrTJ151 Shut the fuck up....dork.

  • @MrTJ151 az is above that, he dont care about dem niggas....he's too busy making quality rap

  • @MrTJ151 ,another artist with a strong point

  • @MrTJ151 he'd be the best rapper ever along with Nas, cuz Nas made an album Hip Hop is Dead, so that's pretty similar

  • @MrTJ151 Honestly I wouldn't be impressed, those whack-asses don't even deserve a mention.

  • @MrTJ151

if az would stoop to that level and to come at them would be out of line for him honestly, real cats know hes a real emcee prolly my fav, but yea not even worth his time, plus az to nice there be no reply, but i feel u i wanna see az mount a comeback and do work but yea i can dream

  • @MrTJ151 Unfortunately, he could never do that. These young cats don't appreciate this shit, bra! Artists nowadays are way above us. I remember seeing videos back in the day, and be like yo! Oh boy in History class got that chain. Not now

  • no offense i luv old skool but i hate when ppl say oh this is when they rapped bout real shit they fuckin rapped bout the same shit in how ya livin he said its all bout bitches and money

  • @ThePieeaters1 'cause that used to be hood dreams, 'cause they came from nothin' and actually went through some rough shit to make it... plus, the lyricism defined them. sometimes it wasn't what they were rappin' about, it was how they was rappin' about it. you don't see this kind of lyrics that much anymore today in the mainstream. i respect your opinion though.

  • WHY is nas the illest rapper Alive?!

  • Although Erick Sermon did the remix for the radio, I prefer the original version produced by Pete Rock.

  • Im feeeeling the hook. my nigga nas killed that shit

  • WHY DONT YOU GIVE ME THE WORLD?!

  • never mind about my previous post, I just found out Pete rock produced this :)

    peace

  • man... this beat is so chilling I almost fall asleep hahaha

does anyone know who produced this beat? premo?

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC

  • A NAS \ AZ album is LONGGGGGGGG overdue!!!!!

  • lol 95 that shit is fucking hilarious

  • why is this whole comment section racist?? we should be makin fun of the dumb fuck with the highest rated comment about school teachers and lil wayne...

  • AZ > YMCMB +MMG + TGOD

Bring real Hip Hop back to the world

  • @ZayStr8Ballin tgod?

  • @dyazmovies dats dat ol wack ass wiz shit cuh

  • Underrated MC, Underrated Album....Thought-provoking classic.

  • @LooseFit88 yea great comment, i just wish nas and AZ collabed WAY more back in the day..

  • JACKIE9847 i love u for saying that :) i completely agree!!

  • @DBlockn05 shut the fuck up dblock, your prolly some lil bitch ass black boy. :D

  • @Ninja0Tuna some bitchmade ass whiteboy named "Ninja0Tuna" would say some shit like that n think its funny

  • suuuuuch an ill chorus man! true dat, i thought u knew daat

  • AZ flow is flawless on this joint...beautiful music!!

  • still my joint..that ill ass NY golden era shit..

  • Smooth

  • A true lyricist, how the fuck does a person construct his thoughts in such a manner. Damn the 90's showed us by how much lyricism can be raised just to be the king of New York.

  • not enough views people too busy listening to the wrong shit

  • @jackie9847 exactly what i was saying bro these fuckin Earl sweatshirt and odd w.e the fucks their names are get like 15 million views and shit... hip hop in the wrong hands

  • @Activist88 I agree with you bro that it is in the wrong hands. But the song Bastard by Tyler was brillant and Earl Sweatshop is actually really dope tbh and if you understand Multis Punchlines and rap music you can not say that man does not have skills. Just because their new generation automatically does not make them bad. As RA Rugged Man says don't judge colour background appearance or age to make up your mind on an mc. Let the persons skill behind the mic to make your up your views.

  • @TREDxGFX so true man they blend so well imagine a Pete Rock whole produced album with Nas and AZ fuckign gold.

  • first heard this song five years after it came out and was blown away..bought the album shortly after & listened to every track non stop!!

  • fuck weezy

  • Nas should have done an album with AZ not Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley. That would have been the best duo ever

  • Comment removed

  • @TREDxGFX Mick Boogie put all their songs together on an album called Executive Decisions

  • For the 5 boroughs!

  • very brilliant

wish music was like this again

    oh well

me & my team gonna put this style back in our raps

  • lyrics were a lil bit faster be better but still love it

  • Classic!!! I used 2 replay this non stop back in the day, sum of all the AZ Joints. Classic man! Just Classic!!!

  • I just want my fucking yellow car I worked my ass off for from my ex which is evil. That all I want her to gimme back.

  • Was listening to this song in school and my teacher was like 'Oh look I bet you're listening to Lil Wayne or something'

i felt like sockin her in the face lol

  • @95PW ahaha glad i just left school weeks ago, another student asked me if I like some kinda new shit when i was wearing a yo mtv raps shirt :@

  • @95PW disgusting ho

  • @95PW this shit is hilarious

  • @95PW Thats because the majority of you "KIDS" DO listen to that....yall are the ones who should be "socked" in the face, but NOT because you're listening to it, but because you're out of line, and cant determine reality from music....

  • @2REALTVOFFICIAL I hope you're not grouping me with these kids you're talking about, because I don't confuse music with reality especially when it comes to bullshit music like that.

  • @95PW What are you referring to when you say "that"? Lil' Wayne? So you consider Lil' Wayne garbage? Funny, cause' he's been all but DOMINATING music for the past 6 years, if not longer. Wayne is NOT "garbage" by far. He comes from a different REGION, with a different MINDFRAME. He's almost TRAINED to rap. Its okay for respecting raw and classic beats and rhymes, but dont just hate on another man for no reason.

  • @2REALTVOFFICIAL No I'm not going all out hating on one man who actually when compared to some is half decent. I'm talking about more than one person when I say 'bullshit music', an example being 50 Cent who should never have called his music 'Hip Hop', but he probably have just ruined another genre, I think it's obvious that Hip Hop has changed and without second thoughts I prefer how it used to be.

  • @2REALTVOFFICIAL We hate on the message. You can't defend his rhymes either because are they for simple simon motherf**kers

  • @trevor123698123 I totally disagree, and your favorite rapper does too.

  • @2REALTVOFFICIAL You are in denial. Get out of here

  • @2REALTVOFFICIAL i couldn't agree with you any more

  • @95PW rofl

  • @95PW haha lil wayne WACK YOOOOOOO!

  • @95PW i wouldv smacked that bitch.

  • @imisrael92

    LMFAOOO

  • @95PW --which u had a right to

  • @95PW

I played this at work where people were asking me, "I never heard this on the radio." It's a banger not doubt, but main I walk madison and 5th wishing everyone heard this.

  • this shits classic

  • Wow AZ should teach rhyming. But again most kids these days have a short attention span to comprehend this stuff.

  • @illpalo what do you mean

  • @illpalo Just saying, maybe I was not clear. Today's mainstream rappers cannot rhyme and tell stories like they did back in the day. Not to say there isn't good hip-hop out there, but it definitely is not as prevalent as it was was back then.

  • Nas=one of the best of all time A.Z= most underated rapper of all time NAS+AZ= LYRICAL GENIUS!

  • Az first album and illmatic are hip hop classics. I been bumpin this album lately along with illmatic and I gotta say these are just some timeless tracks. Az rhyme style is so refreshing how almost every word rhymes in a perfect rhythm. lifes aperformance so playas play with endurance....though we know we all gotta go as long as we leavin theivin we'll be leavin wit some kinda doee.

VISUALIZE IT TO LIVE IT. Nonstop jewels.

  • all i can say is damn yu dont really hear shti like this anymore.. days like these i wish i could go bak in time

  • Wow i haven't heard real lyrical shit like this in a while
