  • I was taking online classes at national american University. But I got tired of that crap REAL quick. I asked if could take campus courses and they said I would have to change my major because they don't offer all the classes on campus. I was like WTF!?

I just recently started at ITT tech on campus. I hope it was a better choice. They seem much more professional and polished.

  • I'm scared. I go to a state university and I don't think they take that shit seriously either.

  • thanks for speaking of the truth

  • So true :D

  • If I had gone to WPI instead of UMass Amherst (Which is giving me the same degree if not better) I would have graduated with $200,000. That's a house.

  • do not do the lincoln high school from texas, now that is fake....colleges do not accept it!!!!

  • high school through penn foster is real but never do colleges online because.....you graduate and some are not accepted and the ones that are....you still have to go to college to do hand on hand trainning...

  • I studied Thanksgiving at DeVry.

  • When I was in college, I was on top of some fine bitchez....For them, they went to Mushroom Tip University....

  • damn thats fucked up

  • yall shoulda had the marines pay for your school lol

  • Great video guys. You all just saved me plenty of frustrations. I was looking to going to one of those online programs. Now I am looking for a traditional school. Thanks!

  • @2enchant if you're serious, hit up a community college then transfer. Saves a lot of money.

  • @2enchant

Don't be silly. These guys are certainly no authorities on this subject and you should use better judgement before taking them as such, considering how they're acting in this video. For starters, AIU is a crap school to begin with and they should've known that before going with them. Secondly, every school has its own standards, and there are schools on and offline that are bad and others that are good. You may go to your "traditional" school and find it's crap... happens every day.

  • Damn I feel for you dudes, I would have left the country if I owed that much...the government is on this shit also...they know the scam and are letting it continue.

  • American Intercontinental University????? hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

you two monkeys have to concentrate in a focus like engineering or programming...business????

  • OK youtube is not allowing me to post the link, dammit.

  • I was an AIU victim! Please sign my petition to help victims of closed schools get loan forgiveness!

  • For starters 24 months is a assc. Degree genius

  • You just saved me from wasting a lot of money. I was thinking of doing an online MBA. Plus you were funny as hell.

  • @leomoore

Do your research. There are MBA programs that are VERY afforable, below $20,000 from well-respected schools and it's guaranteed to be cheaper than whatever you currently have in mind. Employers don't care that a degree is earned online because pretty much all the colleges have online programs now, and the curriculums at the good programs are the same as offline. What employers care about is that you have a strong resume, a good work history and you know what the hell you're doing.

  • lol so what do you guys do for a living then if you cant get any jobs with your degree ?

  • 1.6 GPA in high school? no wonder you didn't learn shit in college....education is education....its what you make of it....and apparently you didn't give a shit

  • you boys are tools! business degree? = Garbage! you have to have a focus in something bro...I have 3 engineering degrees from Onliner schools...I make 60-70 G's a year

  • @ElectronicNexus my cousin makes over $100 a year with a high school diploma ans her husband makes about the same being an electrician or some shit from having like 6 months of training. Suck my monkey bitch

  • @ElectronicNexus Have you heard of APUS and what do you believe? I know Phoenix and AIU is outrageous prices, but as long as the school is regionally accredited, its legit.

  • @Superseadragon

American Public University is a well-respected program, as is Western Governors and those schools are both Regionally and Nationally Accredited. Schools like University of Phoenix and AIU are Regionally accredited but are notoriously low-quality, overly-expensive programs. I hate when people explode acting like all online programs are bad because they didn't do their research and went to a crap school, smh.

  • @AllPro777 Thanks for clarifying that to me. Screw brick and mortar. Save me gas money!

  • ONLINE EDUCASHUN

  • I see why you guys can't get a job, You can't speak the English Language. It has nothing to do with you going to any school. As a man thinks so he is.

  • You can go to Harvard without getting a job after earning it, unless you get the help of you DADDY's relations, you might be stupid if you want to earn your Bachelor online, the online degree is for enhancing your career, and am talking about graduate degrees. but those two guys are the most funny, MAN, YOU ENROLLED FOR AN ONLINE BACHELOR Degree!! you will never find a job with it. The online degrees is for people already has jobs, its for successful people not for those losers.

  • @mmmshebli

That's a good point. But you need to also understand that no matter where or how you earn a degree, without a solid work history, a professional image, and the ability to communicate, a person is not going to find work. Employers don't care about how or where you earned your degree for the most part, they simply care about hiring intelligent people who can do the job right.

  • @AllPro777 Well, you enhancing my point though, in the place i work, we have two IT guys who didnt go to college, but they have the proper experience from the military service, and they are successful, much better than some folks i know who has PHDs !!, BUT, you cant climb up in your career without a higher degree, thats why i mentioned that online graduate degrees is for people already at WORK. I believe you 100% agree with me.

  • I have been enrolled at AIU since Nov 2011, I am unsure if I should continue there would you guys recommend leaving before it's too late ?

  • @MrLeo2G yes leave. Especially if your in Psychology!

  • I agree with you. I just got my AA at UOP-half assed everything, with the exception of math, obviously and still got all A's.Did not learn one thing!! I have to go online unfortunately b/c I have a daughter and I am a single mom, so I have to be home with her. I am getting my BA somewhere else. Any suggestions on a good online school for a BA in business?

  • Get all the online degrees you can boy retards, you need them!!

  • @68WNichoel need them for what?

  • LMFAO their was a WGU University advertisement before this video started...

  • i love your video. but let me tell you, i went to one and mine wasn't a joke at all. we had to show up to class online. my teachers would actually read your papers and rip them to shreds if they were wrong. you had to go to turnitin.com to make sure you weren't cheating, etc. i guess it depends what college you choose. but i'm laughing your video is so true.

  • and start your own company, become an entrepreneur and evolve with evolution of today's changing world__globally. Make it happen with those degrees guys, don't sit around and wait till someone notice your potential---create a business and provide jobs that is what I plan to do with mines (degree). Education is power, a mind is terrible thing to waste...we too often feel we must work for others...use your talent and be your own boss. *peace

  • This is called, technologies in action we are no longer prohibited to just commuting to classes, we have choices, now. And there are ways the universities can tell if you doing the work or someone else, its your writing style that Identifies you. Besides even the best of the colleges and universities out there, such as Yale, Harvard, or FSU, some the people who graduate still cannot get jobs in the major, always been like this since or before the 60's. That is why you can take that degree and

  • Cute video guys, but news flash the world is changing so is how we grow and study nowadays, and online universities are real with real degrees and approved by U.S. Dept. of Education believe that one, dear. Nova Southeastern one Florida's most prestige universities have online full degree programs, without having to do ground campus and online campus. So you guys need take are watching this video need to do research before you judge or agree to everything you hear or see on youtube...okay?

  • @PeppaFreeman having an Online American Degree is nothing to be boasting about

  • It costs that much?!?! wow

  • they are called DIPLOMA MILLS, they are either fake or useless degree

school fucking sucks but when i do my work i want my hard work to PAY OFF

i want my degree to pay off and yes there are accelerated programs that are legit but the colleges in the title are not so legit or good at all...check out urban dictionary definitions, hella funny

  • @justwow13

You're not properly using the term. A Diploma mill is a place where you pay about $99 or so and they print a fake degree and send it in the mail to you. If a school is regionally or nationally accredited, whether it be online or off, it is not a diploma mill. You can argue about the quality of some programs, but no matter how low the standards of a single program might be, if it is accredited by a USDOE recognized body, it is not a diploma mill.

  • What's sad is that while online unis are terrible, conventional unis aren't really worth it as well. Read the book "Academically Adrift" which concluded that nearly 1/2 of uni sophomores hadn't learned anything in two years. 1/3 of uni students hadn't learned anything in four years. Unis use their undergrads for their loans and chase research money at the expense of teaching. NSF/NIH are the biggest science granting orgs in the world, and all science profs want is that money. College is a scam.

  • @ripperduck

"What's sad is that while online unis are terrible"

Most online programs are not terrible. Far from it. Since most Colleges offer online programs, they use the same curriculum they use in the classroom. Same books, same education level of instructors. Sadly, UOP and AIU are trash schools that have advertised a lot and have had a lot of students, and that's put a bad mark on online programs as a whole, but the truth is just like any program they are not all created equal.

  • Hahahahahahahaha this is the funniest video ever.

  • Most of these for profit schools aren't fully accredited and their credits don't transfer anywhere. They also charge and arm & leg for what you could get much cheaper at a community college. Most of these schools prey on the ignorant and desperate. They leave you with a mountain of debt and a piece of paper that many employers and legitimite colleges scoff at. Any college that has to advertise during Jerry Springer or Maury Povich are immediatly suspect in my eyes.

  • They are right about for-profit online colleges , thats why you make sure your credit can transfer easily into a state university before you go to a bullshit college . The twins should look into seeing if the credit transfer and re enroll at a state university for a short period of time to get a real degree. it could work ! I'm going through something similar . This is funny and informative ..

  • FUCK YOU AIU lmao

  • I graduated AIU with a B/A in Human Resource and while I do agree that it's not the best school, Central Michigan Univeristy (CMU) accepted the credits and now I have my MS in Human Resource from CMU. If you plan on transfering your credits towards a Masters, then an degree from AIU of UOP may not be a bad idea.

  • omg lol

  • These guys look like twins

  • @JASONCALEDONIA They are twins. hence the name Hodgetwins

  • lol

  • you can learn everything a collage graduate has learned all by the internet just by a mouse click lmao aint that some shit!!!!

  • The news reported that those schools have the highest default rates for student loans. Its just a bad situation all around. Anyone trying to obtain a degree should start out at the community college and transfer out to a 4 year university. The cost would be substantially lower than those online BS courses.

  • @DollzTalk

What do you mean by "BS" courses? Did you know that greater than 90% of all Colleges and Universities worldwide offer online degree programs including HARVARD? There is nothing "BS" about it. It's the exact same curriculum you get in the brick and mortar school. I know because I hold degrees from both, and one of my degrees is from an Ivy League school.

Also, if a person is smart they can find an online program that is very affordable, but if a person is stupid they'll get beat.

  • did you know that these for-profit instutions routinely enroll HOMELESS PEOPLE?

that's because virtually all their students fund their tuition via federal loans.

it's a scam, the gov't and these schools are enriched. and you end up being the sucker.

  • I am thinking about going to an online school, and how these "fellows" examine the schools shows me not to go to an online school. Articulation is defiantly not one of their strong points. I would like to hear a well thought out reason why I shouldn't, besides the money. Tell me a school that isn't expensive.

  • I currently go to Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division, I really agree with u!!!

  • you guys are fuckin funny.

  • That is interesting! The internet has a LOT of shit going on with it and roll education into the mix as well. Perhaps, you are right and maybe you are extreme on the subject. I believe you about AIU, but maybe they are accelerated by design. There is always a reason for doing something these days and at the cost of many people. Thanks for the vid-

  • LOL....AHAHHAHAHAHAHAAA.. Man, im glad these cats make videos everyday!

  • if you want a fast way out... do 3 year Bachelor online and get a 2 year master in a real university

  • Wait this is a serious question. If i need to waste 50k on devry online because I need a degree and i dont care about how much i learn I just want a BS in 3 years with EASY assignments and EASY tests is Devry right for me? Do a LOT of employers laugh at that degree or just some??? remember I am too retarded to pay attention when i went to a real college so what do i do? Anyone??

  • @OMFGsoBOARD a devry degree is like finding a rock in a rocky road, because anybody can do it, definitely lazy motherfuckers and all that shit.

  • @OMFGsoBOARD I would just lie about having a DeVry degree instead and save the $50k. It would be like admitting you have the clap or something as it is not something that anyone would check out. They would just take your word for it.

  • @OMFGsoBOARD

There are far better and cheaper online programs than DeVry. Don't be a fool. Do your research.

  • Comment removed

  • It's possible you got an illegitimate online education. Not all of the online degrees offered on the internet are real.

  • I think it depends on the school. If it is a school and they started off giving everybody online classes then yea that's a joke. But respectable universities are starting to offer classes online. For instance say Harvard or Yale or UCLA or the University of Texas or NYU somebody like that started offering classes online, that would likely work.

  • Comment removed

  • Spent my whole Sunday watching thehodgetwins. Funny shit.

  • 50k ? Man you should've got a University of London External degree... Its really tough, but INTERNATIONALLY respected, and FAR cheaper... You'll have to study on your own though, and take exams at an approved exam center. But it's worth it.

  • I have friends who graduated from uop. Online too. It's not as bad as you dudes make it. Funny vid tho Hahaha

  • Anybody ask about them schools please refer them straight to a community college.

  • I know what you talking about. I don't even put that shit on my resume, just past job experience.

  • damn, i go to AIU now, and I'm thinking about stopping after hearing this!!!!!

  • wow. i cant beleive u were that frank about ur experiences with online degrees and ur debt levels.

u seem to be relatively worry free. if i had debt of 50k with spiraling interest id be a pissed off motherfucker.

  • Only shitty schools need to worry about accreditation. You never hear Yale or Havard brag about it. Accreditation is the MINIMUM standard a school must meet. Its like a D grade, nothing to be proud of.

  • I hope Ashworh College don't do me like this:-(

  • AIU must suck! 50 grand? I don't even have to pay half that at Phoenix. I actually know people who did Phoenix online who are actually working in their field and higher military rank for their profession. And I also know people who got degrees in classroom colleges and they are managers in McDonalds. Hope your job searching goes well though

  • DON'T GO TO A SCHOOL WITH COMMERCIALS OR ADS!

  • @jebiusenvy LOL EXACTLY

  • Berkeley College ad on the top right! That school is a freaking scam! Nothing is wrong with an online degree once it's from an accredited school, you should check out Thomas Edison State College or Charter Oak State College, those are legit plus a lot of Universities now have online degree programs.

  • Freaking hilarious! LMAO! Just Subscribed. :-)

  • They ain't never lied!

  • $50,000 for an online degree???? OMG!!! Complete scam -- I've been saying it for years...so glad I went to an actual private college in the State of NY, with a 100% accredited degree that is good anywhere in the US and in some cases, abroad -- this is what all those online commercials aren't telling people. You guys are right, their degrees aren't holding any weight in ANY industry. Really sad.

  • @ParisCouture

You're terribly misinformed. Let me educate you. Did you know that HARVARD offers several online degree programs? Of course you didn't. And a Harvard degree would utterly kick the butt of the school you went to.

I have a brick and mortar degree from an Ivy League school and one from a University that offered online programs. Both were better schools than the one you attended, I'm certain of that. Online does not equal substandard. Every school and program is different.

  • I love how they have different accents.

  • I would not want to know these guys in real life...

  • Jaja Keith Hodge IS under most notable alumni at Wikipedia.jajaja

  • man I was in there once but I stop going there and once you been in there you be paying mad fucking money like obama paying the world debt! ol It'scrazy!.....From my exp. do't fuck with it or you be sorry!....You be paying it more then a real college loan year!

  • I love you both LOL

  • WOW!! this is the best vid youy've put out guys !

  • Twin on the right is always so bossy. He is the evil twin!!!

  • how the hell do they know its you doing the work with an online degree and not some1 else? and do they even care?

  • education itself is a scam. Look at our economy and the starting salaries verses the cost of getting the actual degree.

  • @ceelo4 So you think everyone should just graduate and get 100k first year out? smh

  • @Louie212121 There is no justification for the cost of the school other then inflated salaries for administration/professors. Also keeping useless classes afloat by forcing students to take specific courses just as a requirement.

  • Agreed, I just got my two year cert in a business program and now I am going back to school for a trade all while applying to the police. What do you guys do for work anyways? lol

  • Aww 8 people are attending "online" college.

  • "Shut up, shut the fuck up u talk too goddamn much -.- !!!! :DDD

  • "They fax you the degree"!!! LMAO *imintears

  • There's an online college advertisement next to this while I'm watching it. that's failish. ....lmao

  • You guys are so funny! I was depressed starting out my day today and accidentally hit on your YouTube videos. Yall should be on cable, TV or something. If yall could cut out some of the cursing you would be big. Sent this to my grown kids. Hope they can pick up on the insights yall share. Keep up the good work!

  • Unless it's something hands on like culinary (what I'm doing), cosmetology or something like that I wouldn't recommend going to a school that has some accreditation or something

  • colleges and universities a scam if ever saw one

  • I really don't care what they have to say but I like it when they curse at each other. xD

  • LOOK LOOK THERES UR NAME ......SIGH...ITS GONE HAHAHAHA ROFL

  • what is up with the sniffin all up in the camera????

  • haha u guys are wayy too funny :D

  • ha ha ha this is one of the funniest videos you've ever made. The funniest thing about it is that as coolhwp92 said Keith Hodge is one of AIU's notable alumni according to their wikipedia page lol

  • 4:50 ha

  • Comment removed

  • this is so true!

  • LMFAO I checked out AIU's page on Wikipedia and they have Keith as one of their Notable Alumni, guess they haven't seen this yet haha

  • An online graduation? lol

  • Yea but how good was the resume and cover letter and interview? We don't know nothing about what you guys were telling these people in the interviews.

  • amen

  • Lol

  • Damn that was an angry 'whatever the fuck'ew'anna do'

  • 2:46 SHUT UP U TALK TOO DAM MUCH....LMAO

  • 4:35 at Kevin laughing so hard he is crazy!!! I love the Hodgetwins:)

  • I would sue they ass

  • Online universities are for working adults, obviously not for you guys.

  • Jimmy struthers said go to devry pay 50000 get an online degree he said I can get over 100 grand a year and get me a phd

  • I agree that most people should do a traditional classroom based degree program ESP if it's your first time in college. The most important thing with the online colleges is to make sure they are regionally accredited just as the state colleges and universities are. Because some online colleges are legit and also a lot of the legit ones have physical campuses somewhere. I know you guys can say whatever bc it's just advice but I

Wouldn't want someone to turn down an education bc you guys had a ba

  • Real Insight, now only are they funny as hell, their intelligent too.. :) thumbs up for the @hodgetwins

  • Sallie Mae be harrasing the hell out of me...i be like damn b****, im BR0KE!

  • I did the same dum shit. O like 17,000.

  • hahahahahaha....funny!

  • trololol *scrolls through list of names who got scammed * : 3

  • "NO, Shut the Fuck up, you talk too damn much!!! haha

  • I paid for aiu ....

  • What do you think about community & technical colleges?

  • iDid six online classes for a friend! He paid me $500 per class!!.. iFound all the answers to every assignment online.. i submitted them #word4word.. and nothing was flagged!! they are bogus

  • @csportmaria

Your friend went to a bad school. That does not make all online programs bogus. Most online programs require proctored exams, so your little scam wouldn't work with a good online program. But honestly, the fact that you and your friend did that says neither of you have any integrity. So in reality, you both are losers and would've found a way to cheat even if you'd have gone to a brick and mortar program. Shame on you both.

  • Awwe that sucks guys :(

  • Yayy!!!

  • LOL This vid had me laughin

  • THIS LIKE MY FAV VIDEO RIGHT NOW...ONLINE..HBCU'S...ARE NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY! EVEN IF U WERE IN HONORS AND FRATS/SOROS! IF IT AINT YALE...YOU WILL FAIL! lol

  • You two are hilarious. I can't speak from personal experience about online colleges, but I've never heard of someone who said at graduation: "I want to go to an online college." Most of the people I know who've taken online courses have done so because they were working full-time, or they had a baby, they were in the armed forces, etc. And I agree on the job interview thing; they usually don't take online colleges seriously. It's mean, but not surprising.

  • HBCU degrees are losing value too!...Morehouse and Howard would be 2 exceptions. Any other degree from a HBCU is not taken seriously. Your best bet would be to join a frat or sorority while attending that school and keep in contact with fellow members for networking purposes.

  • Hahahahaha

  • i was just wodering what do you and kevin work in? dumb this up guys am just curious!

  • @musclectavio17 They don't work currently. They are both unemployed currently.

  • @MOTat18 thanks for the reply yea i was wondering if they was working they should defently try to look for personal trainer job or something related to muscle building since they know a lot and i mean look at this twins they tall! they cut and have a great physic who wouldnt want to be train by them?

  • jimmy struthers got his online degree in nutrition, and look at him now, making youtube videos discussing fitness topics.

  • i love online education its better then most schools i learn way more

  • you can do what ever the fuck you wanna do Lol

  • If you lack interview skills and common sense a degree won't help.
