It's called scale. There is a lot of research going into creating sub-killoton nukes for surgical strikes.

A multi-giga nuke could crack a small moon.... but that would be totally unbalanced for a game, now woudln't it?

Ever heard of a Di-hydrogen atom? Yeah they can be combined. You still need to enrich the bomb w/ uranium or plutonium to cause a chain reaction big enough to make the nuclei split and cause the explosion. Nuclear weapons do not use fusion they use fission and split to create energy not fuse. To fuse an atom requires millions of times more energy that can be carried around in a single missile or bomb. Hope that fixed your assumption.

2)dihydrogen is just 2 hydrogen atoms that are bonded together, thats how they naturally acure because they are more stable that way... pulling the 2 hydrogens apart would be like pulling 2 gummi bears apart

3)hydrogen contains only 1 proton and 0 neutrons, the isotopes that are used for the fusion process use 2 and 3 neutrons respectivly, making the hydrogen more unstable.

Maybe, but there are such things as "tactical nuclear weapons". Tactical nukes, which are nukes built for use on the battlefield (not so much for sending to another country), yield about this much power.

You have to admit though that Nod's nuke has a larger radius than China's in C&C : Generals.

i liked the sirens in Red Alert 2 which were loud and when your base was udner attack. The sirens for nuke in generals were not so loud and were shorter. Nod really are evil if they just launch a nuke without sirens. ion Cannon looks coolest to me and so does Rift.
