Tim: I saw on the Extreme Sport Drumming website that they're selling a DVD by you called "World Record Bass Drum Techniques." What's the difference between that DVD and your "Techniques, Motions, and Applications" DVD?
BTW, the "roll" between the hi hat and snare @ 5:45 convinced me that I need to seriously develop my left foot hi hat abilities, so thanks for making this trailer. :)
I'm sorry but all this heel toe technuiqe switching is bollocks. It's economy of movement gone mad,it all sound uneven and sloppy. why teach young players to employ lazy technuiqes that only sound good when you play with triggers?
hahaha fun times! :) but i dont see why you had to dis the practice of playing feet on ground. speed isn't my thing, but about a year ago i was in a position where i couldn't access pedals. for 3 weeks, I did heel down working with the first dozen stick control exercises. the results? when I got home and on the kit I improved my accurate/comfortable singles by 10 bpm! I still practice heel down on the floor when I don't have pedals (like right now) - still working to reach my physical threshold!
I would really like to see the 270bpm done on an acoustic drum head. Even if it's on an electronic kit. Something like an RET kick drum would still give you a real head feel.
OH i think this is a real good drummer! .... Nope ..chuck tester.
